1) I was born in Teplice but I live in the small town of Osek near Teplice.

It is my
favourite place because it's a very peaceful and nice city. I have lived here since I
was a baby with my parents and family. There are many interesting places. I
regularly go there with my parents, friends or just by myself. In summer I can swim in
a natural swimming pool (přírodní koupaliště) or I can play sports in the city´s sports
area. My favourite sport is volleyball and it's possible to play it there. There is a fair
(pouť) at the end of the summer and many people always arrive. There are many
fairgrounds attractions and stalls. However, for us it's a very unpopular part of the
summer and we are happy when it's over. But it's been a tradition for a very long time
and we want to keep it for future residents. The prettiest monument is definitely a
monastery and it is visited by visitors from different parts of the Czech Republic. The
ruins of castle Rýzmburk on the hill are a very nice place to relax. The road to the
castle is very nice and great for walking. I also relax in the park where people often
have picnics or play discgolf. My favourite restaurant in my hometown is Černý orel.
In the forest for smaller children there is Stezka korunami stromů or minigolf. Next to
the natural swimming pool is a pond where people can fish or feed swans and ducks.
2) Hradec Králové is a very beautiful city with a rich history and culture. It's also a city
with some interesting traditions. I have been studying there for two years. I don´t
know this city very well but hopefully I can do it in two years. Hradec Králové is
located in the Královéhradecký kraj. There is a confluence of two rivers: Labe and
Orlice, which is home to many animal species such as nutrie and many others. An
important historical figure is architect Josef Gočár. This man designed many
buildings and the street is named after him: Gočárova třída. There are many
universities, for example the University of Hradec Králové and Charles University
(Univerzita Karlova). There is one of the largest medical facilities: Fakultní
nemocnice Hradec Králové.
3) I think there are many places for spending free time. I don't know Hradec Králové
very well but I know about some places. I often visit the cinema in Futurum with my
friends. Very nice is Obří akvárium. I visited this place together with my grandparents
when I was a little kid. There are many types of fish species in aquariums. In this city
there are many parks where we can relax, walk or play sports. My favourites are
Žižkovi and Jiráskovi sady. In the future I would like to visit the Klicperovo divadlo or
another theatre. In the summer there are festivals and concerts. Last year we visited
the divadelní festival and it was great. We also visited the Velké náměstí where we
were fascinated by katedrála sv. Ducha and Bílá věž. When it's time, we go to a
restaurant for a good meal. Our favourite restaurant is Casa Mia. It's an Italian
restaurant and we always enjoy the dish. Last week we were at pond Biřička where
we can also play sports, relax, sunbathe or swim.
4) I would like to study at the Veterinary university in Brno because I want to be a
veterinarian and work in my veterinary clinic. It's been my dream for a long time and I
hope it comes true. I would like to focus on small animals, especially rabbits. This
university is very far from my home but I don´t mind. I will be in the hall of residence
and later I will try to find a flat. I would like to live anywhere I like but probably
somewhere close to my hometown because my family lives here and I want to be
close to them. I would like to have a house somewhere in the countryside with a big
garden and animals. I want to be in the countryside because it's a quiet place with
fresh air. But I don't want to be too far from a bigger city.
