Sheet 110– Isometric projection

1. Draw the isometric view of the frustum of the pentagonal pyramid. The height is 70 mm,
bottom base side of 50 mm and top base side of 30 mm and the axis of the pyramid is
perpendicular to HP.
2. Draw the isometric view of the truncated triangular pyramid of side 40 mm and axis height
of 70 mm. A plane perpendicular to VP and inclined 350 to HP cuts the solid bisecting the
axis.
3. A hexagonal prism having the side of base 40 mm and the height of 80 mm is resting on one
of the corner of the base and its axis is inclined to 300 to the HP. Draw its projections and
also prepare the isometric view of the prism.
4. Draw the isometric view of a triangular pyramid, side of base 40 mm and height 60 mm,
which is lying on the HP with one of its triangular faces, axis is parallel to VP.
5. Draw the isometric projection of a hemisphere of diameter 40 mm which is placed centrally
on the top face of a hexagonal prism. The base side of the hexagonal prism is 40 mm and
height 80 mm.
