MY AMBITION IN LIFE

Life is too short to wait the luck to come without doing something, remember that a farmer cannot harvest a fruit
without planting anything, so why don’t we start cultivating our future so that when the planting season comes, we are prepared
already to plant and wait until the plant gives us the fruit of success. I am not saying that we should become a farmer, what I’m trying
to say is let us be diligent as farmers for us to earn the victorious fortune in the future. It was said in the song "Wiseman" that "only
fools rush in". We should not pressure our self to have something that we can’t get easily or to become the person that we dreamed
immediately without making a way to achieve it little by little. A wealthy man didn’t just become wealthy in a blink, he worked for it,
remember that you can’t build a palace in just one day, a hen can’t find something to eat if she didn’t look for it, and a tree will not
become tree without starting as a seed because everything has a process. In myself I have a bucket list where I wrote my goals like
what I want to have, how much do I need to have that thing so that I can save money for it, where do I want to go in my future travel. I
know that I can’t get it all alone; I need to work for it, I can’t work for it without a job and I can’t have a job with a high rate of salary
if I didn’t finish my study.

Since I was a child I already dreamed to become a teacher, I want to take up the program Bachelor of Science in
Secondary Education Major in Filipino because I really loved books, reading stories, myths, legends, parables and I also wrote
poetries. Back when I was still a Grade 1 student I am always excited going to school to see my teacher who always told me that she
really appreciate my cooperation in class because even though I know I have a wrong answer I still try to voice it out in front of the
class. Since then I promise to myself that I will study very hard for my future so that I can help my family and give them the life that
we dreamed because they are my inspiration why I want to be something that they can be proud of. I know in myself that my ambition
will not become successful without doing something that is why I always try my very best to learn something every day and have a
good grade. As of now I am in senior high school and preparing myself for my college life. After I finish my college I’m going to take
the Licensure Examination for Teachers and if I pass I will immediately find a job to earn money, but if not I’ll still find another job
for me to earn money in other way in order for me to sustain the needs and wants of my guardians who raised me as their own. It is
also my big dream to build a huge house that contain a 30 meter square swimming pool, wide dining area, 40 inches flat screen TV
and 7 rooms, 1 for me, 1 for my guardians and the 5 others are for my cousins so that we can leave together in one house and also I
want to have my own car that we can use for our travels as well as my own service so that I don’t need to pay for commuting from
home to work, I also want to put up a small business for more income like a store so that my guardian can have something to pay
attention because they don’t like just sitting down and waiting their children to give them money as they are use to work hard before
getting what they want. Before I turn 30 I want to go in Japan to experience winter, hike in Mt. Fuji, wear the Japanese kimono and eat
some of their famous delicacies. Another country that I want to go to is in France because of the famous Eifel tower in Paris. In life we
can’t avoid hindrances especially financial problems that may become a block to continue our productive hard work but there are
always people who can help us as long as we have a good character. Exhaustion may be also one of the reasons of why some people
choose to accept that they loose and there’s nothing they can do, but for me this hindrances will not become a block for me to achieve
my dreams. In life we can’t stop the problems that will come up, so instead of running away from hindrances why don’t we face it and
solve it just like what was said on the saying that ‘’if there’s a problem, there’s always a solution’’.

There’s nothing bad of dreaming high or if it will not come true, maybe God just have another plan for you, but it doesn’t
mean that you don’t get what you want you’ll stop striving, you need to continue what did you work for from the start so that what
you did will not become a waste at the end of time. We can’t live just like a moviegoer in life, that just sat down on the sofa and eat a
pop corn then wait until the movie ends and learn something, we can be an actor of our own story but it is better to be the director of
our own life, the one who controls the actor of how they are going to act the character because there is only one scriptwriter of all the
stories, it is the God who guides us in our everyday living in this world and who will guide in our journey even in the afterlife.
