You and your group members are media practitioners who have been tasked with the
responsibility of planning a press conference for your selected event. Prepare a media conference
[3-4 pages] based on your selected case study that addresses the following steps:
1. Define your goals (Why are you planning a media conference?)
2. Message (What is the message of the event?)
3. Location/Date/Time
4. Set-up: seating, registration desk etc.
5. Refreshments/Parking/Security
6. Invite Media (Which media will you invite and why?)
7. Invite Guests (Who will be the guests? Why?)
8. Spokesperson/s (Who will be the spokesperson? Why?)
9. Press Kit (What items will you include in the press kit?)
