7042

GRAPHITE WB
GRAPHITE-BASED DRY LUBRICANT
NON-FLAMMABLE
WATER-BASED

DEFINITION

7042 is a micronised graphite dispersion formulated for use as pre-treatment for the drilling, forging and
lubrication of certain mechanisms.
Guarantees a dry film with a fixed aspect regardless of the variations in temperature, unlike traditional
grease and oil.
This water-based product is odourless, non-flammable and non-toxic.

ADVANTAGES

 Supplied ready for use in the form of a colloidal dispersion of pure graphite.
 Leaves a smooth and homogeneous film which adheres to surfaces.
 Causes no corrosion, prevents surface oxidation and the blue discolouration of billets.
 Withstands abrasion and lubricates threaded parts in linear or rotary motion.
 Facilitates assemblies and enables safe dismantling.
 The film dries relatively quickly.
 This lubricant does not attract the dust in the air.
 Does not stick, does not stain.

Helps with fluxing metal for complicated parts and lengthens the lifespan of matrices.

APPLICATION FIELDS

 Forging and hot die forging of any type of metal,

 Lubrication of moulds, matrices, billets, tools, etc.
 Tool storage protection,
 Avoids seizing and lubricates all surfaces and mechanisms when nuclear standards are required.
 Lubrication in dusty environments.
