 Transfer of Credit (TOC)
Ex-Secondary/Senior Secondary learners of the recognized Boards of School
Education who have passed in at least one subject, but have not qualified in the
course, may seek admission in the respective course at NIOS and avail facility of
TOC.

Students can opt for TOC only in passed subjects from previous board results.
TOC can be opted when the same subject is mentioned in NIOS subject scheme.

In NIOS board the student can get credit transferred to a maximum of four
subjects from NIOS (Old students/Ex students) and to a maximum of two
subjects for other recognized board like CBSE/CISCE/UP board and all other
government recognized and approved boards.
