of psychiatry and mental health advocacy have left an astonishing mark on our community.

positive and transcultural psychotherapy.

Her academic journey speaks volumes about her dedication and pursuit of excellence. With an
M.B.B.S from PSG IMS and R, Coimbatore, followed by an M.D. in Psychiatry from

continuous learning is evident in her Postgraduate Diploma in Medico-Legal and Ethics from
the prestigious National Law School of Indian University, Bangalore.
Dr. Vidhya's professional journey is equally remarkable. As an Assistant Professor at
Velammal Medical College Hospitals, Madurai, she molded the minds of future psychiatrists
before founding Sri Kaarunya Clinic in Madurai, where her compassionate care has touched
countless lives.
Her contributions extend beyond clinical practice. Dr. Vidhya has been at the forefront of
groundbreaking research, including a pivotal study on psychiatric morbidities during
pregnancy, presented at prestigious international conferences. She has also been a sought-
after speaker, advocating for mental health awareness at various platforms.
Dr. Vidhya's dedication to holistic care is evident through her involvement in life skills
training for students and shadow teacher training for children with autism. Additionally, she is
