al-karamah min noa al-quswah tabaqa lama

salf al-quswah aala samihini aqsaa majboor
in advance the harshness on forgive me I become harsh compelled/forced

taraf juroohi maa awqaf hallaq majboor
side my wounds with I stop now compelled/forced

‫ﺑﺘﻨﻌﺪ‬ ‫ﻣﺎ‬ ‫ﺳﻮدا‬ ‫وﻧﻘﻂ‬ ‫ﻣﺎﻲﺿ‬ ‫ﻋﻨﺪي‬ ‫ﺑﻌﺮف‬

bitna’ad ma sawdaa wa nuqt madi andi ba’arif

ba’ed ’ana sam’ati ma ashyaa aamel wa inni

najawab la-hatta al-alam kul naqra lazim
we answer until the world all we read must

‫وﺤﻧﺎﺳﺐ‬ ‫ﻧﺘﺤﺎﺳﺐ‬ ‫ﻻزم‬

wa na-hasab nat-hasab lazim
and we hold accountable we are held accountable must

‫اﻟﺼﺎﺣﺐ‬ ‫ﻫﻮى‬ ‫ﻣﻦﻴ‬ ‫ﻨﻟﻌﺮف‬ ‫ﺑﺸﺪة‬ ‫وﻧﻤﺮ‬

as-sahib hawa meen li-na’rif bishiddah wa namur
the friend is who to know through hardship and we pass

tajariba majmoo’atan nuhna

ِ ‫ﺠﻧ‬ ‫ﺤﻟﻰﺘ‬ ‫اﻟ َﻌﺎﻟ َﻢ‬ ‫ﻞﻛ‬ ‫ﻏﻘ َﺮا‬ ِ‫ﻻ ِزم‬
nujawib la hatta al-’alam kulla naqra lazim
we answer until the world all we read it is necessary
