Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd hereby invites you to submit your quotation for the items as
detailed in this bidding document. Your offer should be made on this form with any annex
which you may wish to enclose.

sealed envelope clearly marked with the Procurement Reference number. Your quotation

 Specifications

1. Tractor Mounted Sprayer.

1.1 Should be able to be mounted on tractor, CAT I/II linkage

1.2 Main tank capacity about 600 Litres.

1.3 Provided with rinse and hand washing tank.

1.4 Pump of about 100L/Min. capacity.

1.5 Shaft for driving pump and will be adapted to tractor shaft of 35 mm
diameter with 6 splines

1.6 Pressure regulator to be provided together with a manometer.

1.7 Sprayer to be about 2.5m when in folded position and about 10m when fully
open.
1.8 Hose reel of about 50m with hand sprayer.

1.9 Operation/service manuals together with spare parts list to be provided.

1.10 Warranty to be at least 1 year.

 Instructions to Bidders

1. Quotation validity Period

The quotation shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the submission deadline.

2. Submission of Quotations
2.1 Unless quotation is for a package or for a lot, bidders are required to quote for
each item shown on the list, and for the total quantity of any particular item.

2.2 Quotations shall be submitted as stated in the RFQ: in sealed envelope marked
in the lower left hand corner of the envelope “RFQ/GD/AO/VR/SG/21/018 TC
(29 SEP) - “Procurement of Tractor Mounted Sprayer” to the Chairman
Tender Committee and deposited in the Tender Box at AML Corporate Office.

All sections of the RFQ shall be filled; where a section is not applicable, the letters
N/A shall mean NOT Applicable and the letters N/Q shall mean NO Quote.

3. Selection and Decision

3.1 Selection shall be based on the lowest price offered, subject to technical
conformity, availability and timely delivery.

3.2 At time of evaluation, the selected bidder having benefitted from the Margin of
Preference shall be allocated the Contract subject to the supplier forwarding
necessary documents to establish that it meets the qualification for the preference.

4 Margin of Preference
The applicable margins of preference with respect to goods, including
pharmaceuticals, shall be as follows:

a) Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) shall benefit from a margin of preference
of:
(i) 40% on their locally manufactured goods bearing the “Made in Moris”
certification issued by the Association of Mauritian Manufacturers; or

(ii) 30% on their locally manufactured goods not having the “Made in Moris”
certification.

b) Local manufacturers, which are not SMEs, shall benefit from a margin of preference
of 20% on their locally manufactured goods.
5 Rights of Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd

Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd shall have the right to

(a) ask for clarifications at time of evaluating quotations

(b) negotiate on the price, terms and conditions with the preferred bidder or
(c) reject all quotations.

Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd shall not be bound to accept the lowest or any
quotation.
 Conditions of Contract

1. Delivery
Delivery shall be effected within 8 months upon receipt of Purchase Order. The
Sprayer shall be delivered at AML Stores or Mechanical Workshop, SSR
International Airport, Plaine Magnien.

2. Warranty
2.1 The Supplier warrants that the Sprayer shall conform to the standards,
specifications and related services as defined by the Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd
(AML) in its IQ subject to any alternative proposal(s) made by the Supplier in its bid
and as approved by Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd.

2.2 The Supplier undertakes to make good, at its own cost and promptly, any deficiency
in the supply of the Sprayer and related services during the warranty period.

2.3 The Supplier warrants that the Sprayer to be supplied is new and unused and that it
shall attend promptly to any defect in the above-mentioned good as per the warranty
conditions mentioned in its offer.

2.4 The whole equipment shall be under warranty for a period of at least one year as
from delivery of Sprayer to AML.

3. Inspection
Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd shall have reasonable time after delivery of the Sprayer
to inspect it and to reject or refuse acceptance of the good not conforming to the
specifications. Payment pursuant to the Purchase Order shall not be deemed an
acceptance of the equipment.

4. Prices

The price quoted shall be firm and fixed during validity period of quotation and for
execution of Contract and shall include all expenses such as transportation costs and
packing.
Any expense not mentioned herein but which needs to be incurred to fulfill the
contractual obligations, shall be deemed to be included.

5. Payment
Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd undertakes to effect payment within 30 days after
supply of the goods/ items to its satisfaction and subject to the Supplier submitting
all required documents. Final payment shall be adjusted to reflect any non-
compliance in the execution of the Contract.
