SUPPLEMENTARY WITNESS STATEMENT OF THE PLAINTIFF

1. My name is MARK WILLIAM HANSON and currently I live at H/NO. B277/14 Mataheko,
Accra.

2. I am the Plaintiff in the above suit.

3. On the 4th January, 2022, I filed my witness statement before the Honourable Court.

4. In paragraph 6 of the said Witness Statement , I stated that Nii Arde Nkpa family who
sold the said land to me prepared a lease document in my name covering the land in
December, 2003 and handed same to me (Exhibit “A”).

5. The said lease document (Exhibit “A”) given to me by my grantors included an indenture
and a site plan.

6. In paragraph 8 of the said Witness Statement, I stated that upon receipt of the said lease
documents to the land, I took possession of the land and started the registration process
at the Deed Registry of the Lands Commission.

7. During the said registration process at the Land Title Registry, I paid the stamp duty at
the land valuation and was given a receipt. Attached is a Copy of the said receipt and
marked as Exhibit “F”.

8. I later conducted a consolidated search in May, 2023 which clearly shows the exact
transaction on the disputed land. Attached is a copy of the said Search results and marked
as Exhibit “G”.

 9. Again, in paragraph 17 of my Witness Statement, I stated that I summoned the
defendants before the Chief of Kokrobite who ordered both parties to produce their
respective documents for a search to be conducted to ascertain the true owner of the
disputed land.

10. A search I conducted on the instruction of the said chief (Nii Arde Nkpa VII) at
the land title registry revealed the disputed land belonged to the plaintiff and same was
later handed over to the chief. Attached is a copy of the said search result and marked as
Exhibit “H”

11. I therefore pray to the Honourable court to subpoena the land title registry of the
lands commission to appear before the court to answer questions pertaining to the
genuiness of my land title certificate no. GA44496 and other matters.
