Navigating the Dyslexic Mind

Can you spot signs of dyslexia in students, specif-
ically elementary students? Tailored specifically
for this age group, this session focuses on under-
standing the identifying characteristics and equip-
ping teachers with effective strategies to support
and assist them. Acquire valuable insights into
recognizing dyslexia and offering meaningful
assistance to students in need.
Explicit Teaching (Gradual Release of
Responsibility)

I will employ the Gradual Release of Responsibil-
ity Teaching Model to present a lesson on explicit
teaching. The session will delve into the process
of factoring, utilizing the Gradual Release of Re-
sponsibility to demonstrate a lesson structured
around the stages of "I do, we do, and you do."
