Jasmin was the Captain of the Guard in Scorn. There was always tension between
the powers of The Guard, the military, and the Spears of Sarrath, but their roles were
defined. When the fire burned a sections of Scorn, the religious fanatics of Sarrath
called it The Cleansing. Baron Mawbray was a known follower of Sarrath and
allowed the Spears of Sarrath take over the ‘population control’. She watched was
friends and family were killed or forced to give up everything. It was only a matter
of time before they came for her.
After contacting a group called The Vigilant Lions, she plotted her escape. The
Vigilant Lions, a known thieves guild within the city, but with a religious angle. As
they believe in the values of Delaquain, the Gray Maiden. Jasmin has shed her
normal guard uniform and is disguised as a barbarian from the Veitor Plains. No
one would recognize her since she was rarely seen outside her uniform and her red
hair plaited tight on top of her head. She wants to stay within Scorn and help people,
but the Vigilant Lions want her to go to Eastgate and tell the king what’s going on
in Scorn.
She wields a hard silver sword to defend herself. The metal bears the scars from her
battles during her time with The Guard. Cem’s Bag of Holding allows her to carry
four more items than normal. It is also enchanted not to give off a magical aura and
hide things within from magical detection.
