INTRODUCTION

Big Front Porch Productions is a premiere musical production


company that’s based out of the Mississippi Delta region and
specializes in country, folk, CMC and gospel genres.

Our founder, Tricia Walker, has over 35 years of experience in


the music business as a singer/songwriter and producer and has
experience working with country music starts like Faith Hill and
Shania Twain.

We are committed to working with both new and experienced


artist to help produce quality music and grow their brands to help
them reach the big stage!
VISION

Big Front Porch Productions is committed to establishing ourselves


as a household name in the Mississippi Delta and then expanding
toward some of the bigger cities such as Memphis and Nashville, TN.

In order to first become a household name in the Delta, we are going


to need to expand our marketing output both online and in person in
order to attract new clients and grow in popularity.

Another important component to help us reach our vision of


becoming a house hold name in Delta is by upgrading our studio
equipment and keeping up with all the latest trends in the music
industry. This will help us attract more quality clients.
SWOT

Strengths= Talented Staff with over 35 years of experience in the


country music industry.

Weaknesses= Not a nation wide brand and a limited budget for


marketing and studio upgrades.

Opportunities= Opportunity to expand to other country music hot


spots like Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee.

Threats= Impact of the pandemic on the music industry.


COMPETITIVE FACTORS

The Delta region is known for having extensive musical history


with legendary artist like B.B King and other stars. So naturally,
there are quite a few production companies that we will be facing
such as the Delta Music Institute, Y Productions and Sonic
Signature to name a few.

We also have to factor in the music competition we will be up


against in country music hot beds like Memphis and Nashville,
TN.

A talented staff with over 35 years of experience in the country


music industry.

A quality reputation and a successful track record working with


clients.

In a solid financial position even in the midst of a pandemic that


has taken a toll on the economy and the music industry.
MARKETING STRATEGY

Our marketing strategy will be focused primarily in the Delta


region and will include a heavy social media presence, business
cards, poster boards, radio ads and new items added to the online
store.

Our social media strategy will include creating profiles on


Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and promoting the work of our
clientele and our company to our followers on a daily basis.

We will also be working closely with a local business called


Flatlanders Screenprinting INC. for the printing of business cards
and other forms of merchandise like t-shirts and water bottles.
EXPENSE BUDGET.

In order to grow the way we want by doing things like expanding


our advertising program and making studio/equipment upgrades,
we need to evaluate the cost of that and make sure it’s in line
with our spending budget.

After evaluating our current financial records, we currently have


a spending budget of $10,000 for the year 2021.
COST

$500 for t-shirt printing.

$750 for social media/online advertising

$1,500 for radio advertising.

$4,000 for studio/equipment upgrades.


PRICING STRATEGY.

$100 an hour for studio sessions.

$75 for publishing of a single song

$450 per music video production

$500 for publishing an album
