2. Vacate all materials/equipment’s

Work Sequence:

1. Advance notice to client upon execution of work.

2. Project Engineer, safety officer and other personnel must be first to arrive at site to
verify if the area is free from obstruction.
3. Barricade the area of caution tape where loading/lifting of silo will be done. (Radius of
secured area 10meters).
4. Safety officer, Project Engineer and rigger position on designated location of mounting
to overlook and supervise the lifting works.
5. All involve on this activity must have a toolbox meeting on site to discuss again this
procedure before proceeding on the next activity.
6. Arriving and Positioning of Tadano Crane and Zoom Lion Crane.
7. Positioning the crane, provide metal pad for the out trigger base.
8. Once the Tadano and Zoomlion is in position safety officer, supervisors, riggers and
engineer will do the final check on truck position before proceeding to lugging and lifting

if it is rigid. If rigid proceed on lifting.
13. Work slowly and perform only one function at a time with each crane (as shown in
scheme 1 to 4)
14. Signaling is most important and it should be performed by assigned rigger.
15. Once the silo is in position, align the leg to its pedestal with marking position, then full
weld to its baseplate
16. After full welding, lifting devices to be removed only on the leg side while the lifting
device on top will be removed upon complete of stairway and WAH permit must be
applied.
1.) Parallel lifting; lift silo about 12inches from the ground hold for 1 minute and check
crane position. Zoomlion at right side color white, Tadano at left side color yellow

2.) Slowly lift Zoomlion crane while the Tadano crane is supporting the leg portion to
prevent silo from swinging.
3.) Continue lifting until silo is in vertical position, perform one function at a time with each
crane. Proper communication/signaling is important and should be performed by the rigger
assigned.

4.) Once silo is now in vertical postion. Move it slowly mounting to its pedestal. Align the leg
of silo then weld it to baseplates.
