    evidence to SIU involving Tshwane city manager

    Tomorrow, 25 January 2024, Xiluva leader Bongani Baloyi, will hand over incriminating
    evidence to the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) exposing the City of Tshwane municipal
    officials, including the city manager, Johann Mettler, in irregular tender practices for
    chemical toilets in informal settlements.

    We urge the SIU to thoroughly investigate these allegations, ensuring any financial
    losses incurred by the municipality are recovered. Once the evidence is gathered, it
    should be promptly referred to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to take
    appropriate legal action.

    Baloyi will be joined by the party’s Tshwane regional coordinator, Norman Mohale,
    Regional campaigns manager, Lwandile Ngqaka, and Lotus Gardens, Atteridgeville and
    Saulsville Civic Association (LASCA) President, Tshepo Mahlangu.
