The story of "David Copperfield" takes place in England during the

19th century. The locations in the story include the fictional towns of
Blunderstone, Yarmouth, and Canterbury, as well as the city of
London.

2)Who is the main character? How would you describe him/her?

The main character in "David Copperfield" is David Copperfield

himself. At the beginning of the story, David is a naive and
innocent child who is deeply devoted to his mother. As he grows
older, he experiences a wide range of emotions, from love and joy
to sorrow and despair. He faces many difficulties and hardships
which he overcomes with time. David is portrayed as a kind-
hearted, determined and intelligent person. Throughout the story,
he meets many different people who influence his life and help
him to become the person he is at the end of the book.

David Copperfield is a young boy who faces a difficult childhood, losing
his father and being forced to live with his severe stepfather and his
sister. He is sent away to boarding school where he makes friends but
also experiences cruelty from his headmaster. He grows up and falls in
love with a girl named Dora. But their marriage is not happy. David
becomes a successful writer and finds happiness with Agnes.
