SPORTINESS IN SPORT

Answer all the questions in order. There are no right or wrong answers, This is a

good opportunity for you to think and reflect. Try to do it in english, you can

achieve one half extra point!

1. Watch this video of an educational campaign through sport:

2. What are the values of sport? What do you consider to be a person with or

without sportiness? Give an example of a person who makes a sporting

gesture and an unsporting gesture (real or invented). (2 points)

3. Watch and choose minimun 6 of the 15 videos that appear on this link:

F23yH and make a brief reflection on each of them (4-5 lines). You can reflect

on what you think abut the video, what values it teaches, what opinion you

have of it, whether you liked it or not, etc. (3 points).

4. Search on the internet 3 unsporting gestures in news or videos and explain

what you think abut them. (2 points)

5. After watching all the videos, answer this question:

How applicable do you think some of the values you have observed and

learnt in the videos can be in your day-to-day life? Give some examples

(1 point).

6. Imagine you are a player of any sport (Football, Basketball, Voleyball,

Pickleball, etc). You are in the final of the IES Ramon y Cajal tournament and
you commit an infringement of the rules when scoring a point/goal/basket

with little time left to finish with the score level between the two teams, such

as scoring a goal with your hand, committing a foul, stepping out of the field

or bouncing the ball out. Would you tell the referee or the opponent that you

made a mistake or would you keep quiet to win? Answer the question

honestly and explain why you would make that decision
