nouns or noun phrases in a sentence is the demonstrative adjective. They
define the specific actual object or things being discussed, as well as their
relative proximity to the speaker and the conversation's overall context. The four
main demonstrative adjectives in English are "this," "that," "these," and "those."

 "This" and "these" denote objects close in distance or time.

 "That" and "those" indicate objects farther away in distance or time.

Examples:

 "This" refers to singular objects near the speaker.

 "This book is interesting."

 "Can you pass me this pen?"

 "That" refers to singular objects farther away from the speaker.

 "Do you see that car parked across the street?"

 "Look at that bird in the sky."

 "These" indicates plural objects close to the speaker.

 "These cookies are delicious."

 "I bought these shoes yesterday."

 "Those" denotes plural objects farther away from the speaker.

 "Look at those clouds gathering in the distance."

  "Can you pick up those toys on the floor?"

By defining the precise item or things being discussed, demonstrative adjectives

aid in linguistic clarification and can change based on the speaker's viewpoint or
the context of the discourse. The circumstances can alter how "near" or "far" is
perceived. The purpose of this explanation is to shed light on demonstrative

En primer lugar, un tipo de adjetivo que se utiliza para destacar o identificar

sustantivos o frases sustantivadas concretas en una frase es el adjetivo
demostrativo. Definen el objeto o las cosas concretas de las que se está
hablando, así como su proximidad relativa al hablante y al contexto general de
la conversación. Los cuatro adjetivos demostrativos principales en inglés son
"this", "that", "these" y "those".

 "This" y "these" denotan objetos cercanos en distancia o tiempo.

 "That" y "those" indican objetos más lejanos en distancia o tiempo.

Ejemplos:
