Search Engine
- It is a web-based tool that enables to locate information on the World Wide Web.

The teacher will then introduce the top four search engines, namely:

a) Google - American search engine company, founded in 1998 by Sergey Brin and Larry
Page, that is a subsidiary of the holding company Alphabet Inc. More than 70 percent
of worldwide online search requests are handled by Google, placing it at the heart of
most Internet users' experience. It is considered the most popular search engine
around the world.

d) Baidu - Baidu was incorporated on January 18, 2000, by Robin Li and Eric Xu.
In 2001, Baidu allowed advertisers to bid for ad space and then pay Baidu
every time a customer clicked on an ad, predating Google's approach to
advertising.
