ADVISORY NOTE

(For students appearing in the exam in Offline Mode)

Dear Student and Concerned Parents,

FTRE is just a day away, and we trust that you are excited as well as focused to achieve success!
We want you to perform to your optimum potential on the exam day, so to alleviate your pre-exam stress, we
recommend that you go through this advisory note so that you are well informed about the entire exam
process.

As the exam day approaches, we believe that you must have diligently prepared and revised all the key
concepts relevant to the exam. To further enhance your readiness, we advise you to ensure a restful sleep to
wake up feeling refreshed on the exam day because a well-rested mind tends to perform more efficiently.

We recommend you follow the points written below to achieve greater success:

DOs:

✓ Please check the Exam Schedule & Pattern carefully to be aware of the type of questions expected in the exam.

✓ If you have NOT checked Sample Paper yet, please refer to them NOW (relevant to your class) to gain insight on
the Exam pattern & structure. Sample papers are available at https://fiitjee-ftre.com/samplepaper.php

✓ Find out the location of your test centre beforehand and estimate the travelling time.

✓ Arrive at the test centre at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time i.e. latest by 8:45 a.m. (If you are an
outstation student, please plan to reach the Test Centre well before the scheduled time).

✓ Carry your Hall Ticket/ Admit Card as you will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without it. In case you have
NOT received your hall ticket, you can collect it from your nearest FIITJEE centre by showing your identity card (You
should carry your school ID card or any other photo identity card).

✓ Carry 2 Blue/Black ballpoint Pens, 2 HB Pencils, an Eraser, a Sharpener, Analog Watch, Water Bottle, etc. to the
exam hall.

✓ It is suggested to carry your tiffin/lunch from home. You can have your tiffin/lunch at designated places within the
test centre campus.
✓ If you have registered ONLINE then you will be required to carry two copies of Hall Ticket, Photograph to be pasted
on both copies. You will be required to submit one copy of Hall Ticket to the invigilator/ FIITJEE Admission Staff.

✓ During the exam, please check that you have got the correct question paper as per your present class.

✓ Read the instructions given on the question paper carefully and fill up the OMR sheet accordingly. Furthermore,
you are required to follow the instructions of the invigilator. It’s imperative that you fill in your personal details
properly to ensure smooth publication of results. If any information is filed incorrectly, the process of publication
of your results will be affected. Please fill in the Registration Number correctly on your OMR sheet, failing which
you will not be able to get your OMR answer sheet and/or Result letter.

✓ Remember to take all your belongings along with the question paper while leaving the exam hall.

✓ You must Create/update your complete online profile on www.fiitjeelogin.com (This is MANDATORY). This will
enable you to check your OMR answer sheet, answer key, marks secured after the exam, and your FTRE Report
Card upon declaration of the results.

DON’Ts:

✓ Please note that you are not allowed to bring any prohibited items into the exam hall such as electronic devices,
mobile phones, smart watch, earphones, calculators, books, notes, formula sheets, and bags.

✓ Do not switch over to another section if you find the section to be easy. If a section is easy, then it is easy for
everyone. If a section is tough, then it is tough for everyone and was meant to be like that with a goal in mind.
Hence, you should devote allotted time for each section.

✓ It is advised not to let the performance in your first paper affect your momentum for the second paper. So, avoid
over-thinking during break time and devote that time for relaxation to deliver your optimum.

✓ You are advised not to venture into non-designated areas within your test centre.

✓ You are not allowed to leave the Examination Hall before completion of the Exam.
