SIENET Magic - Syngo Imaging XS

Description
Doing service (USC, RSC, HSC) passwords are quite often not known or not valid anymore. This causes additional
effort to obtain correct access information and delays actions necessary.
Resolution
With this Speed Info we would like to introduce a "Password Safe" and a "Activity Log". These files should
be installed on all syngo Imaging XS sites as it can be copied from the appendix of this Speed Info and
installed on the main server of all syngo Imaging XS systems.

The following specifications should be met:

Name: PwdTable.rtf
Server: Main server
Location: D:\MagicView 300\service\PwdTable.rtf

Name: Activity Log.rtf

Server: Main server
Location: D:\MagicView 300\service\Activity Log.rtf

A Steps to be done for the PwdTable:

1. Copy the attached files "PwdTable.rtf" "Activity Log.rtf" and to the syngo Imaging XS site to main
server: D:\MagicView 300\service\
2. Open this file "PwdTable.rtf" and confirm and/or modify the default user logins and their
passwords

Notes:
- User accounts not available on this system should be deleted from this file!
- Reformat all confirmed / modified settings from "Italic" to non-Italic and bold
3. Finally close & save the file "PwdTable.rtf"

Encrypt the file with the following steps:

1. Open the "Explorer" and navigate to D:\MagicView 300\service\
2. Rightclick the PwdTable.rtf and select properties
3. In the General Tab select "Advanced" and activate "Encrypt contents to secure data"
4. Close all windows with <OK>
5. Caution (file only!):

Further handling of the "PwdTable.rtf"

  The password table "PwdTable.rtf" should always be updated with the latest user- & password
information.
This information can be implemented by all Siemens staff working technically on this system.

The only access to this password file can now be done by the Administrator.

Finally make a note in the headline of the ActivityLog. e.g. Administrator Password safe D:\MagicView
300\service\PwdTable.rtf

B Steps to be done for the Activity Log:

1. Copy the attached files "Activity Log.rtf" to the syngo Imaging XS site to main server: D:\
MagicView 300\service\
2. Open this file "Activity Log.rtf" and modify the site
3. Finally close & save the file "Activity Log.rtf"
4. Now create a shortcut to the Autostart folder
