Type of practice: industrial.
The industrial practice is aimed at developing the student's basic and

professional competencies, acquiring practical experience and is implemented within
the framework of the Government Educational program 6B101016 "Medicine".
Industrial practice is conducted in the conditions of medical organizations on the
basis of direct Contracts with the bases of professional practice of students.
Industrial practice in the 1st year of the educational program 6B101016
"Medicine" is conducted at the end of the academic period, before the intermediate
certification.
The duration of the work week during the internship is 30 training hours (1
ECTS).
Before starting the industrial practice, the person responsible for the practice
from the medical organization holds a meeting instructing students. During the period
of industrial training, students are subject to the requirements of occupational safety
and internal regulations in force in a medical organization.
The results of training in industrial practice are determined by the educational
program 6B101016 "Medicine".
To control and assess the level of development of basic and formation of
professional competencies among students, such forms and methods as assessment of
theoretical training, monitoring the implementation of practical manipulations during
practice, analysis of observation results, expert assessment of reports, differentiated
credit are used.
Students who have fulfilled the requirements of the internship program and
provided an Practice journal filled out in accordance with the requirements for
industrial practice in an approved form are allowed to take a differentiated credit.
The results of the differentiated credit are recorded in the educational statement.
Students who have not completed the internship program on time in accordance
with the working curriculum and the Academic Calendar, or who have received an
unsatisfactory grade, are sent to practice again during the summer semester.
The assessment of the student's work in the department is carried out according
to the following parameters:
— practical skills;
— theoretical training;
— activity and interest in the work being done;
— appearance;
— implementation of the internal regulations of the hospital departments and
compliance with the work schedule.
Evaluation tools based on the results of industrial practice
The form of certification in industrial practice is a differentiated credit with an
assessment.

The student must fill out a Practice journal, certified by the signature of the
person responsible for the practice from the medical organization and the seal/stamp
of the medical organization.
Criteria for assessing students' knowledge when conducting a differentiated

credit in industrial practice:
«Excellent» – the student systematically attended classes (without missing or
being late for a disrespectful reason), completed a volume of practical skills exceeding
the program of industrial practice in quantitative terms, knows well the theoretical
issues of the course of industrial practice, is familiar with the basic literature. Filled
out the Practice journal competently every day, with a meaningful description of the
work done. Practical skills are fully mastered by the student – the student freely
performs manipulations, knows the algorithm of actions, the volume and level of
mastering practical skills are full-fledged, corresponds to 100%. Neat and qualified
appearance.
«Good» – the student has systematically attended classes (without missing or
being late for a disrespectful reason), has completed the entire scope of practical skills
provided for in the industrial practice program, knows well the basic questions of the
theoretical course on the subject of practice. Filled out the Practice journal
competently every day, with a meaningful description of the work done. Has mastered
practical skills, performs them without slowing down, correctly, but there is some
uncertainty when performing them.
«Satisfactory» – the student completed the industrial practice program, but
acquired a minimum number of practical skills with a small level of their mastering;
showed insufficient activity in mastering practical skills. Not well versed in the
theoretical issues of the subject, did not answer the questions fully. Had passes for
disrespectful reasons, comments from the medical staff of the medical organization
during the completion of the program. Unsystematic, negligent Practice journal
keeping.
«Unsatisfactory» – the student has not completed the industrial practice
program; has not mastered practical skills according to the industrial practice
program; has little knowledge of the theoretical issues of the sections of the practice
subject. Was not disciplined (sloppy in medical clothes, did not comply with the
sanitary and hygienic requirements of working in a medical organization, was not
attentive enough to patients, violated the rules of medical ethics and deontology,
allowed passes without valid reason, had comments from the medical staff of a
medical organization). Unsystematic, negligent Practice journal keeping.
