 A Pakistan election candidate was shot dead while campaigning on
Wednesday, January 31.
 Rehan Zeb Khan, an independent candidate affiliated with former
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party,
shot in a “targeted killing” when gunmen opened fire on his car
 Happened in a market in Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province,
according to district police.
 Three other people were injured.
 The Islamic State Khorasan, or ISIS-K, later claimed responsibility for
the attack.

whose face was covered with a face mask and shades claiming the
prize at the PCSO main office a day after hitting the jackpot of the
Lotto 6/42 drawn on Dec. 28, 2023 worth PHP43,882,361.60.
