ACTIVITY: IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS

Description: In-Service program is a professional development program
for teachers' growth, improvement, and development. Also, it
provides an opportunity for teachers to discuss about their
projects with their peers.
Objectives: The following were the specific objectives of the conduct of
the activity:
a. Orient Teachers on crafting Effective Enhanced School
Improvement Plan.
b. Discuss the E-SIP Process, SIP format and DepEd’s
Mission, Vision, and Core Values
c. Identify the School’s Current Situation
d. Craft Improvement Plan/Strategic Plan
e. Craft Financial Plan
f. Conduct School Monitoring Plan, Evaluation and
Adjustment
g. Craft of Enhanced School Improvement Plan 2023-
2028
h. Present Teachers target and Accomplishments Mid-
Year Review

 i. To establish a unified vision for a school, assess its
needs, and then outline a program to resolve all the
issues uncovered

RESULTS: The identified objectives and targets for the activity were met.
a. Conducted the In-service Training while adhering to
minimum public health standard based on policies and
guidelines of the IATF; and
b. Discussed-well the topics by the speakers engaged in
several topics like: Orientation on effective crafting of
Enhanced School Improvement Plan (E-SIP), School’s
current situation, Improvement plan/strategic plan, and
financial plan.
c. Learned things, timely innovations, and prepared
teachers on crafting effective Enhanced School
Improvement Plan

Participants’ Active involvement of participants were evident during the In-

Feedback Service Training Program. Reactions and comments were
entertained during the post evaluation of the committee
members. Suggestions were properly considered.

Methodology
The said training was divided into three sessions from day 1
to day 5. Session 1 was the orientation on effective crafting
of Enhanced School Improvement Plan discussed by Ma.
Irene N. Paghunasan, school head. Session 2 of the training
program was the crafting of Enhanced School Improvement
Plan 2023-2028 by the School Planning Team. The last
session was the teachers target and accomplishment Mid-
Year Review.

Management of the Activity

The In-Service Training program was conducted

on 6th to 10th of February. The head school head,

Logistics Arrangements
The In-Service Training program for Teachers was
spearheaded by the school head, Ma. Irene N. Paghunasan
as well as the teachers to take part of the massive support in
the said training.
