compound that is why they are very
close to each other. One morning, Jake,
Kate and Jade planned to surprise their
nice friend Duke. “Let’s bake a cake
because Duke will be nine years old
tomorrow”, Kate said. Yes! “Let’s ride a
bike and play kite near the lake
afterwards”, added Jake. “We will bring
ice cream and eat it in a cone. We will
also buy him cute case for his phone.”
Jade said.7 As planned, Kate, Jake and
Jade brought the cake they
baked to the house of Dave. “Dave, wake
up” says Kate in a loud tone. We baked a
cake for you. Come on! Let’s ride a bike
and play a kite near the lake”, said Jade
and Jake. Altogether, they rode on their
bike and played kite near the lake. When
they got tired playing kite, Kate brought
out the cone for their ice cream and
some plates and spoons so that they can
eat the cake. They also gave the gifts
they prepared for Duke’s birthday. Duke
was very happy. He gave his friends a
group hug and thanked all of them. “I
hope that we will be this close forever,”
