4. APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY

4.1 GENERAL APPROACH
In order to conduct successful training the ITFN will adhere to the following
approaches:
 Select qualified, experienced and professional team
 Select methods and process that have been tested and proven to be
successful and effective
 Good co-ordination with client and all stakeholders
 Regular briefing on the progress and problems encountered
 Clearly defined roles and responsibilities of team members
 Strict and punctual to training routine
 System in place to monitor and evaluate performance
 Complete training session within time and budget
 Maintain high quality and standards
ITFN will consider each training program as a project and take it as an opportunity to
explore and improve their training methods further. we will establish a clear training
management structure, setting out responsibilities.. Hence, the team should be fully
oriented and familiarized with the key objectives of the project. The project team
should comprise of a team leader, coordinator and two trainers (one for beginners &
intermediate course and the other for advanced course).

4.2 METHODOLOGY
Team leader will be the focal person to coordinate training. Once the team is formed
and oriented, the team will work on preparation of work plan, preliminary study,
documentation and preparation of trining activity.
Trainers/instructors will prepare the materials for training courses, notes, hand-outs,
presentation slides, audio-visual clips, practices exercises and so forth.

4.3 TRAINING MODALITY

The course delivery will incorporate lessons and hands on practical skills session.
Lessons will comprise instructor led lecture that will intersperse with group
discussion, scenario-based examples, case-study, power point slides and live
demonstrations.
Lecture/Presentation – training sessions usually commence with power point
presentations led by instructor. Training materials will be displayed with the aid of
projector.
Group Discussion – the presentation will be followed by a group discussion which is a
participatory approach that involves active participation of all participants sharing
their experience.
Demonstration – demonstration will follow group discussion and is an excellent way to
teach a new process step by step.
Q & A sessions – following demonstration, question-and-answer sessions are most
effective for updating skills
Practice/Exercise – Hands-on-experience gives a better understanding putting
theoretical knowledge into practice.
Review – finally, at the end of each day the lessons given will be reviewed to
summarize outputs of the training
Feedback – At the end the training a feedback form is circulated and collected. This
evaluates the overall training provided and suggests for improvements.
