You should visit …
1 … Camden Market, London. This popular market is
open every day, and it’s got over a thousand shops,
stalls and cafés.
2 At the market, there’s food from all over the world.
For street food, go to KERB. There are 34 different
stalls, including our favourite – Club Mexicana. Their
fish tacos are fantastic. KERB is open every day from
11:00 am to 6:00 pm (7:00 pm at weekends). For those
who don’t eat meat, VBurger has vegetarian fast food –
we love the meatless burgers there. Go to Nata 28 for
fantastic Portuguese cakes and biscuits. For ice cream,
go to Chin Chin Labs. It’s got many different flavours
as well as tea and coffee.
3 The market is also a great place for shopping. Most
people go to buy clothes, but it’s easy to find books,
music and shoes, too. There are many stalls with
original clothes that you can’t buy in typical shops.
People make and sell clothes and there are stalls with
clothes from the past – the 1950s and 1960s clothes
are popular.
4 Near the market, there’s a cinema, so if you need to
rest, why not watch a film after visiting it? In summer,
there’s an outside cinema too, and there’s often live
music. Check before you go so you don’t miss
anything!
