Daily Target: Creation of 10 product pages per day Weekly Target: Creation of 10 x 5= 50
product pages per week ;
For new interns they are asked to source 5 products for first week , so in a week 5x5=25
products

Task: Every Intern will be assigned a topic to work on and should continue to source products
until you don’t find any more products satisfying our criteria namely price, portability, and
brand information.

Note
Do not repeat a product, check the specifications and refer to previous files you made to
avoid repetition of products
Sometimes the products will have a different price, but the product is the same in that case
do not include that product, ONLY INCLUDE IT IF THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS ARE
DIFFERENT.

Supplier’s Information
No top brands.
High priority: a product does not have its manufacturer’s name or logo.
The supplier is a manufacturer located in China, not a reseller or distributor.

Price Criteria
Price ranges from a supplier:
Higher than US$200 for a handheld product, and
Higher than US$400 for a benchtop or desktop product.

Size/Weight/Other Criteria:
The unit needs to be handheld or benchtop (desktop), and it should be a
standalone unit, not a part of a system.
Additional Criteria:
 Price Criteria: $200 and above for handheld testers
$400 and above for benchtop/desktop devices
  The product should be portable or handheld with a weight/size of roughly <10kg
 Minimum two images
 Proper technical specifications

Images
 No Brand Information or Chinese characters on Product Images
 Even if exists on images, the supplier/manufacturer should belong to China (CN), not
any other country.
 Do not clean images to hide brand names.

Product Name:
 Always starts with GAOTek
 It should be Grammatically Correct.
 And try not to repeat the names make it a little different from each other

Product ID:
This is the format to follow
GAOTek- “Acronym”- “count”
GAOTek and acronym are common for all products only the count keeps increasing
Eg: You are given a topic like this
LCR Meters (LCR) (101)

Acronym The count to start from

Your IDs should be like this
GAOTek-LCR-101, GAOTek-LCR-102,……, GAOTek-LCR-200

Overview
 The overview should start with GAOTek followed by the product name followed by
information from the sourcing site with the product's full name listed only once in the
entire overview paragraph.
 In between the overview, there might be model numbers you have to replace with
words like “It”, “This device” or “this product”.
 If the overview is not there, write the meta description.

Guide for Meta Description Creation:

It should be of 130-150 characters including space.

The meta description should be written ONLY IF THERE IS NO OVERVIEW.

This product name has a value technical specification, 2nd technical specification of value, and
3rd technical specification of value.
Example:
This GPS drone has a 10 mi (2 km) control distance, a flight time of 25 mins, and a 23 V 15 mAH
battery.
This GPS drone has a battery of 23V 15mAH, a flight time of 25 mins, and a control distance of
10 mi.

Different ways of listing specification and value

1.value specification
For example: 23 mins flight time
2.specification of value
For example: flight time of 23 mins
Note to use only of no is or are in between specification and value.

Restrictions:
Rule 1: character range:135-150 characters
Rule 2: lower case whole meta description and ensure grammatically correct by including
articles suggested or spelling corrections suggested
Rule 3: No redundant words like has, is, with, or irrelevant words like about
Rule 4: Abbreviations or acronyms must be in UPPER CASE like GPS, LCD, etc.
Rule 5: Include important specifications based on the product to write in the meta description,
do not use Dimensions or Size.
Rule 6: Use Grammarly to add articles wherever needed in the meta description to ensure
grammar correctness along with checking whether its character range is exceeding or not.
SHOULD NOT EXCEED 150 CHARACTERS WITH SPACES.

Note:
This has, and are fixed words, only product name and specifications and its value varies’
product by product.

Features

 Features should be in bullet points

 Make the features short in 5-8 words.
 Features must not end with a full stop or period.

Technical Specifications

 They are found under key attributes, and also when you scroll down, you should add
them from both places
 DO NOT INCLUDE place of origin, brand name, shipping, packaging, keywords,
applications, use, type, product name, and model number in technical specifications.
 All the technical specifications should be in a table of two columns.
 Only the specification part should be bold, and the values should not be bold

Take every specification possible and leave out everything concerning the package,
delivery and warranty

it is in dimensions part OR 17.3 (440 mm). write the actual value that is available on the
website in the bracket.
kg or g converted to pounds (lb), ex: 8.8 lb (4 kg) or 1.10 lb (500 g)
m convert to mile (mi) if the value > 100 m, convert to feet (ft) if the value < 100 m, convert to
inches (in) if the value < 0 m, ex: 0.31 mi (500 m), 32.80 ft (10 m), 0.19 in (0.005 m).
km convert to mile (mi), ex: 55.92 mi (90 km).
°C convert to °F, ex: 14 °F to 122 °F (-10 °C to 50 °C). The website usually has Celsius, so please
convert to Fahrenheit and put Celsius in the bracket like the example I gave to you.
 Do add space before °C or °F.
 Do add space before and after the multiplication symbol (x).
 Do add space before starting the next set of units. For example: 8.8 lb (4 kg).
 Convert pressure to PSI followed by bar or KPa or Pa or MPa or mPa
 Convert temperature to °F followed by °C.
 Convert weight to lb followed by kg or g.
 Convert length to in or ft or mi followed by mm or cm or m respectively.
 Do not have units in plural like cms
 Always have units in lowercase except for Pa (Pascal), V (volts), and L (liters).
