Our safety lifecycle services follow the structured and systematic approach
defined in safety standards such as ISA 84 and IEC 61511. We use these
internationally recognized standards as our benchmark and guiding principle
for all of our activities.
Our safety lifecycle services begin at the concept stage and cover detailed
design and build, installation, and commissioning through to operation, as

The world of functional safety is complex.
Standards are changing. Demonstrating
compliance to regulatory bodies is
becoming more demanding.
Fire and Gas study: Fire and explosion study to determine the
consequence and the likelihood of such events in addition to gas
dispersion study to determine the extent and severity of loss of
containment events involving flammable, explosive, and toxic materials.
Additionally, we can offer Fire & Gas Mapping studies to help lay the
detector against the pre-specified performance targets and ensure the
effectiveness of the design and the implementation of the F&G system.

A safety partner for life
Supported by a global infrastructure, you are assured
of a safety lifecycle partner with the expertise and
commitment every step of the way, where-ever and
when-ever you need them.
Cause & Effect generation: Generating C&E diagrams for SIS or for
the system can provide a way to analyze and map the possible causes
of variation in a process and their effects systematically.

Our commitment doesn’t just stop once the
system is installed and operational. We are
available throughout the operating life of the
asset to ensure that your systems are always
operating at peak performance.

Functional Safety Management
Functional Safety Management planning: ensures that each SIF is designed, installed, and operated correctly
to obtain the appropriate level of risk reduction
Functional Safety Guidelines: IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 are performance-oriented standards; they state what is
required but not specifically how. The Standards are not a cookbook of pre-planned solutions; Therefore, our team
provides corporate-specific Guidelines and Procedures on the implementation of the standards for any corporate
before starting any Functional Safety project. These Functional Safety Guidelines shall cover the whole IEC 61511
safety lifecycle. The Guidelines provide a step by step guidance on doing each activity of the safety lifecycle to
ensure that whenever a Functional Safety activity is needed, it will be performed consistently and performed by
following the corporate Functional Safety procedures.
Functional Safety Assessment (stage 1 to 5) & Auditing: is the process of performing independent reviews
and audits at five stages of the IEC 61511 Safety Lifecycle to ensure that all the activities and documentation for
the Safety Lifecycle phase have been completed according to the requirements of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 to
help in reducing the effect of systematic failures.
Functional Safety Database using PHA-Pro software: ensures proper management of the lifecycle activities.
The database provides templates for executing lifecycle activities, ensuring consistency in the standard
implementation, easy traceability, and efficient management of change. This would enable dramatic improvements
in company-wide visibility of risks and allow companies to avoid repeat issues by leveraging historical knowledge.
Combines with EcoStruxure Process Safety Advisor provides real-time operational risk analysis and visualization
across your entire enterprise, providing situational risk awareness for faster, better decisions to operate your
assets more safely and profitably.
