0 Patch 2 - Patch Notes

- Fixed Critical Wounds to go back to only applying when your current health after
taking damage is equal or below 2. Was accidentally applying when taking more than
half your health in a single hit, instead of only when on extremely low health.
- Scrolls: Using a Golden Scroll will now also fully repair the item. This fixes
issues with Mending trying to repair an Unbreakable item.
- Healing special mobs will no longer heal Battle Tower Golems or the Ferrous
Wroughtnaut.
- Scrolls: Fabled rolls on Shields now correctly give percentage speed increase
instead of a flat number.
- Rune: Health Frenzy now works again.
- Skill: Critical Damage attacks now only affect mob type entities. Previously
script didn't check for entity type, which would be very dangerous.
- Orb of Origin crafting recipe removed due to potential bugs when switching
Origin. This item can still be spawned in through commands or Creative.
- Rune: Smoldering no longer deletes items/experience on kill when used on your
off-hand item.
- Boss enrage phase speed has been lowered.
- Boss enrage phase should no longer fall off after minion phase is cleared.
- Witch Spiders no longer spawn to prevent crashing when purging Origin effects
that should be permanent.
- Special Mobs: Reflectors now deal the amount of damage taken back to attackers.
- Bosses should no longer be able to be boat-stalled.
- Boss: Sea Serpent damaging aura passive can now hurt other mobs.
- Blood Diamond armor full-set tooltip updated to say it's currently not working
properly.
- Tomes now state they do not work with Cursed Scrolls or Origin abilities.
- Boss: The Ferrous Wroughtnaut now only spawns minions at every 25% health
missing, or on start of fight.
- Mod Update: Shadowizardlib 1.0.2 up to 1.1.0
- Fixed potential desync issues with Changeling's tertiary ability.
- Fixed potential desync issues with Enchanted Special mobs.
- Mod Added: Oculus 1.4.5
- Rune: Skillful now gives points based on your Slayer Task streak x 5. Example: 50
Task Streak x 5 = 250 Skill Points.
- When not on a Slayer Task, getting further kills will now show a popup text above
your hotbar saying you're not currently on a task.
- Special Mobs: Flankers will now switch positions with you, instead of just
teleporting to you.
- Hid the Backpack from Quark, the Ocean Staff, and other similar items in JEI as
they're not obtainable.
- Longbows and Ballistas now have repair materials.
- Rune: Death Toll description updated to say it only works in the Overworld now.
Disabled teleportation when dying in another dimension.
- Added new command to add Skill Points with cheats on. Example: /skillpoints 500
- Added new command to reset your Slayer Tasks with cheats on. This will wipe your
current task, but also your Task Streak. Example: /slayertaskreset
- Certain bosses will now delete any nearby water every 3 seconds.
- Boss Minions can no longer be Special mobs.
- Mod Removed: You Died 1.0.1.8
- Rune: Skillful now says in chat when it procs and how many points you received.
- Origin: Soul Warlock's tertiary no longer procs when a player dies.
- Dragons and Sea Serpents no longer receive Slowness when on half health.
- Special mobs now say "Special" on their nameplates.
- Mod Update: Big Fish 1.1.1.1 up to 1.1.1.2 - Fixes crash when eating Slimy Eels
on dedicated servers.
- Origins: Wendigo's tertiary no longer deals more damage than it should, compared
to your max health.
- Origins: Wendigo's tertiary now reflects damage as typeless damage, which pierces
armor.
- Bosses can no longer spawn as Special mobs.
- Battle Towers will no longer crumble when the boss is killed.
- Slayer Task kills and health requirements have been lowered by half.
- Mod Update: Essential 1 up to 1-3-0-2
- Rune: Smoldering no longer breaks additional damage sources. Example: Vorpal
- The Ferrous Wroughtnaut should now be dropping his items again.
- Lava and Fire damage now deal percentage damage scaling with your health.
- Fixed potential desync issues with multiple Origin abilities.
- Boss: Elder Guardian no longer crashes your game when reflecting damage as
Wendigo during it's own reflection mechanic.
- Boss: The Ferrous Wroughtnaut now gains boss damage.
- All boss damage now properly scales over time, rather than scaling with your
progression. This includes boss minions.
- Added new command to reset your world's difficulty back to day 0. Example:
/resetdifficulty
- Relogging when downed will now automatically kill you on joining the server
again.
- Boss minions now permanently glow when summoned.
- Rune: Phase Shift healing now increases when affected by Druid's Fungal Spore
ability.
- Origin: Changeling can no longer ride/control Battle Tower Golems and the Ferrous
Wroughtnaut.
- Origin: Changeling's ride mob ability now lets the entity you're riding walk up 1
block heights to help control them better.
- Main menu updated to say "Patch 2" at bottom left next to modpack version number.
- Fixed enchantment description for "Thunder Strike".
- Magma Monsters and Grunts now properly show their names on dedicated servers.
- Hatching dragons will no longer sometimes cause them to be named "Dragon Egg".
- Boss: Elder Guardian no longer prevents you from building/breaking blocks when
nearby.
- Utility Origins now actually receive +2 attack reach for their class passive.
- Boss: Ender Dragon minions no longer apply blindness.
- Upgraded Origins no longer have the "Upgrade on killing Ender Dragon" passive
anymore, since you've already upgraded.
- Milk Buckets now say you can't drink them.
- Boss: Frostmaw should now be dropping their ice crystal again.
- Boss: Barako should now be dropping his items again.
- A chunk of bosses now spawn/modify their arena to make it easier to fight them.
- Bosses now reset to their spawn position when no players are nearby. This does
not affect Dragons, Serpents, or the Ender Dragon.
- All items are now immune to damage/deletion when on the ground, excluding despawn
timers. This means: Explosions, Lightning, Fire, Lava, etc.
- Boss: The Wither now properly works with it's new mechanics.
- Origin: Changeling riding mobs will now constantly break them out of the Frozen
effect to prevent desync issues.
- Removed disabled artifacts accidentally dropping from Battle Tower Golem.
- Boss: Ignis, Netherite Monstrosity, and Ender Guardian can now be shot with
ranged weapons further away.
- Boss: Ignis is now immune to explosions to prevent insta-killing by reflecting
their purple fireball.
- All bosses - excluding Serpents and Dragons - now have an insta-kill failsafe
script that prevents players dealing over 50k+ damage in one attack. If detected,
damage is reduced to 50k flat and converted into typeless damage.
- Updated description of the "Thieving Cloak" to better represent it's ability.
- Mod Added: TrashSlot 12.2.1
- Lava Buckets no longer act as trash cans, since the TrashSlot mod has been added.
- The passive "Fireproof" has been removed off all item tooltips, now that every
item is immune to damage while on the ground.
- Tarantula Hawk Elytras can now be combined with Ignitium Chestplates, same as
normal Elytras can.
- Boss: Elder Guardian no longer teleports once when attacked.
- Fishing no longer has a chance to summon the Elder Guardian.
- Fishing now has a 1/500 chance to fish up an "Elder Guardian Fin" which allows
you to summon an Elder Guardian on right click at your position.
- Bosses that apply potion effects no longer apply them indefinitely.
- Mod Added: Plasmo Voice 1.2.19
- Removed "Aye Aye Captain!" tooltips from pirate items, since the mechanic does
not work.
- Spore Projectiles no longer have name tags.
- Craftable Fire has been renamed to "Pocket Flame"
- Origin: Soul Warlock minions no longer have a purple flame above their head. This
is to prevent a crash.
- Tweaked almost every boss to make their base damage more reasonable. This is on
top of the new scaling formula.
- Boss: The Big One no longer spawns with gear.
- Boss: Ender Guardian now enrages below 50% health.
- Boss: Elder Guardian no longer reduces incoming damage.
- Boss: Frostmaw's buffed damage ability now applies correctly when affected by
enrage.
- Boss: The Ferrous Wroughtnaut now has taunt and death lines.
- Origin: Soul Warlock's passive "Defiance" now resets upon dying.
- Origin: Templar's passive "Saving Grace" now resets upon dying.
- Rune: Dark Pact no longer accidentally despawns other nearby Dark Pact
Vindicators. Additionally, they now spawn with Netherite Axes, are enchanted with a
Strength buff, glow for better visibility, and now last for 30 seconds.
- Boss: Wither's corruption mechanic now resets on players when the boss resets.
- Mod Update: FabledWeaponry 1.0.5 up to 1.0.6. This update fixes the Bulwark crash
on dedicated.
- Boss: Netherite Monstrosity, Hoar Frost, and the Ferrous Wroughtnaut now spawn
custom arenas when spawned/approached. This is to make their fights easier,
considering their nearby terrain.
- Boss: Ignis now shatters the floor of his arena on spawn, causing you to fight
him at the lower section.
- The passive "Mythical Metal" has had it's description changed to be easier to
understand.
- Bosses now only receive the enrage slowness debuff on attacks when equal to, or
less than, half of their current health. Example: 500k = 250k or lower to slow.
- Boss: Ender Guardian's minions now have Magic Damage immunity to match the
passive of the boss.
- Fall damage, drowning damage, and fire/lava damage now stop scaling after 500.
- Slayer Tasks now stop scaling after day 166.
- Boss minions now cap their scaling bonus damage dealt to players at 2000.
- Bosses now cap their scaling bonus damage dealt to players at 4000.
- Item pick up notifier now displays the correct color on the "item multiplier"
instead of being based on the item's original rarity.
- Bosses will now activate their abilities when taking at least 10 damage. No
longer only activates on player damage.
- Boss: Battle Tower Golems, Ender Golems, Barako, Awful Ghast, Nether Keeper, and
the Shelterer now always spawn with 50k health.
- Tomes can now roll Runes.
- Rune: Combat Medic now applies for 30 seconds each stack, previously was 5
seconds. Additionally, now stacks up to level 30.
- Rune: Berserker now applies for 30 seconds each stack, previously was 8 seconds.
Additionally, now stacks up to level 30.
- All Origin blades, excluding the final, now have 30 base damage.
- Modifier Scrolls can no longer be used on an item that has rolled the "Fabled"
affix, the black text one.
- Added a new scroll called the "Holy Scroll". When applied, will prevent the next
time you blow up an item. When combined with a Golden Scroll, will additionally
prevent your item from resetting it's stars. Obtainable from normal "Mysterious
Scrolls".
- Fixed a potential crash when using Golden Scrolls and switching items too
quickly. Would try to apply to "Air", causing your player file to corrupt.
- Added new failsafe messages when using scrolls on items that are already affected
by that scroll, or other scrolls.
- Riding a mount will no longer display it's health on your hud.
- Gilded Cutlasses and Boarding Axes now gain +3 base damage to give a reason to
want to do so.
- Bosses no longer roll randomly equipped armor/gear. This was never visual, but
could cause them to gain thorns and other enchantments.
- Boss: The Ferrous Wroughtnaut now always spawns with 3k health.
- Most major bosses now spawn with 1m health.
- Boss Bags now drop 1 per 200k+ additional health. 50k-200k is still 1 by default.
- Boss: Sea Serpents and Dragons now enrage at half health, causing them to become
immune to ranged attacks. Runes and Scrolls can bypass this immunity when hit by a
projectile, but the damage of the projectile is still nullified.
- All Tank Origins now have a toggleable "Tank Aura" effect that causes all nearby
mobs in a 20 block range to fall to the ground if flying/swimming. Toggled with the
Nonary key.
- Potion Slimes now naturally spawn underground.
- Added a new "Farming Crate" to fishing. Offers a wide variety of seeds and
farmable items.
- Mod Added: Time Shall Not Pass! 1.2.0 - This mod prevents time from passing on
servers if no one is online.
- Origin: Soul Warlock's tertiary ability now always procs the explosion on mob
kills.
- Rune: Fixed Metal Shell, Skillful, Dark Pact, Plague Bomb, Berserker, and Combat
Medic sometimes not applying when instantly killing mobs.
- Boss: Void Worm is no longer summonable due to an unfixable bug. The Dimensional
Carver, the drop from Void Worm, is now rolled in End City loot tables.
- Re-enabled custom Ignis voice lines for fun. Some lines are still missing though,
and other bosses have yet to be voiced.
- All bosses now apply a new effect called "Threatening Aura" when approached. This
effect prevents placing blocks, but not breaking them.
- Skill: Projectiles has been renamed to Ranged Atk. and no longer increases
projectile size or speed. Now offers +10% total base damage increase per level.
- Skill: Dodge starting cost now scales from 25 instead of 10.
- Challenge Origin: Survivalist no longer has the passive that applies permanent
leather armor.
- Challenge Origin: Survivalist's passive that heals mobs when attacked now has a
25% chance to proc and heals by +1000.
- Reviving downed players no longer consumes hunger.
- Chests, Ladders, Bookshelves, Boats, and Barrels can now be crafted with most
wood types.
- Shulker Boxes can now be crafted with most chest types.
- Boss: Elder Guardian's Electro Shock ability now skips it's first phase and now
immediately goes to detonation count down.
- Boss: The Big One's passive has been replaced with "Thick Skin". This effect
makes the boss immune to most ranged attacks.
- Boss: Elder Guardian's passive has been replaced with "Sharp Scales". This effect
causes similar damage reflection as normal Guardians would.
- Rune: Berserker, Combat Medic, Dark Pact, and Skillful can now stack their
effects when used on off-hand and main-hand items at once.
- Rune: Dark Pact's Vindicators can no longer spawn as special mobs.
- The Incinerator now requires an Axe of a Thousand Metals to craft.
- Origin: Dragon Knight's secondary ability will no longer pull enemies affected by
"Damage Suppression". This is the effect that makes bosses invincible, meaning you
can now hold minions in place while kiting the boss around.
