- refers to themes or topics for which the

Department of Education prescribes certain
guidelines when these themes or topics are
referred to in lessons in the learning
resources.
PURPOSE

To help developers of learning resources be

mindful and responsible in expressing
meanings, using messages, ideas,
illustrations and the like in the learning
resources
RESULT

Formation of desirable values such as

nationalism, justice, moral uprightness,
understanding, and compassion among
others
Avoiding misconceptions, stereotypes,
discrimination, bias, stigmatization,
incitement to violence, and other adverse
behaviors and influences
