When could you give a first aid treatment?

First aid involves providing immediate and initial medical help to individuals who suffer sudden injuries or
illnesses. It includes immediate medical attention during critical emergencies and addressing minor
ailments such as burns, falling , occur in machine accident

List of occurrence in factory

Continuous Heavy bleeding from a cut

1 Put pressure on the wound with cloth to stop or slow down the flow of blood.

2 If blood soaks through the material, don’t remove it. Put more cloth or gauze on top of it and continue to apply pressure.

3 If the wound is on the arm or leg, raise limb above the heart, if possible, to help slow bleeding.

4 Wash your hands again after giving first aid and before cleaning and dressing the wound.

5 Do not apply a cream , liquid until the blood flow is not stop

5 If major injury then immediately move to doctor

Burns

hold the area under normal cool (not cold) running water for about 10 minutes. If the burn is on the face,
apply a cool, wet cloth until the pain eases.
Apply lotion. After the burn is cooled, apply a lotion, such as antiseptic cream This helps prevent drying
and provides relief.

Bandage the burn. Cover the burn with a clean bandage. Wrap it loosely to avoid putting pressure on
burned skin. Bandaging keeps air off the area, reduces pain and protects blistered skin.
If needed, take a nonprescription pain reliever, such as ibuprofen
Splinters
How do I remove a splinter?
If the splinter is sticking out of the skin:

1 Wash the skin around the splinter with soap and water.
2 Clean a pair of tweezers with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
3 Grab the end of the splinter with the tweezers.
4 Pull it out at the same angle as the splinter went in.
5 Clean the skin again with soap and water.

If the splinter is under the skin:

1 Wash the skin around the splinter with soap and water.
2 Clean a needle and tweezers with alcohol.
3 Gently scrape away the skin above the splinter with the needle until you can see the top of the splinter.
4 Grab the end of the splinter with the tweezers and pull it out at the same angle it went in.
5 Clean the skin again with soap and water.
