I. Introduction
Experts say that stress gets passed on from teachers to their students.
Students in classrooms that have teachers experiencing burnout are said to have
high levels of cortisol- a kind of stress hormone. High levels of cortisol, the stress
hormone, in students can hinder their ability to focus, learn, and engage
effectively in the learning process. This, in essence, creates a cycle where stressed
teachers contribute to stressed students, resulting in a less conducive learning
environment.

To focus on particulars in making research

REFRESHER Teacher III
The LAC program was facilitated by the Grade III teachers. It was held in the
conference room participated by all the NBBES faculty. The meeting started at 11: 00 am in
the morning with a prayer, followed by a National Anthem, and singing of Navotas Hymn
through AVP Presentation. Mrs. Mary Jane A. Sabulao led the attendance check through the
singing of Singing Bee by each grade level. Mrs. Stephanie B. Delos Santos shared her

inspiring Thought for the Day. These thoughts emphasized that as teacher we should be
happy and accept everything that we cannot control. Grade Three teachers led the energizer
led by Mrs. Rachel S. Valino.
Mrs. Reza Flor Z. Laranjo, the master of ceremonies, formally opened the LAC
Proper following those short talk and orientation.
Mrs Apple S. Francisco was the discussant and showcased his topic entitled
“Educational Research Refresher” She emphasizes the importance of knowing the parts of
research and doing it right. The second discussant was Mrs. Daisy Jean L. Gumayan, she
discussed Ways to take care of Mental Health. Two great speakers delivered the topic very
well and at the end of the LAC session teachers gained knowledge about each topic.
Afterward, there was the giving of certificates to the discussants and picture taking
for every grade level.
The LAC was indeed a fruitful and meaningful day to each and everyone.
