ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

'Load Planning for Flat files' ESS Job showing status as success in case of wrong data

Load the sales forecast data through 'Load Planning Data For Flat Files' with DP Forecast Template.

All the ESS jobs are completed in Success but data is not imported.

In case of any data issue the ESS job must show an acknowledgement as Warning or Error. But all the jobs are showing as
success.

CHANGES

CAUSE

The issue is caused by the following:

1. Any custom measure which is a user-defined measure so should be uploaded using the
Measure.csv file only and not using DPForecasts.csv or any other templates

2. DPForecasts.csv is only for the seeded Forecast Measures such as the

Imported Forecast, Marketing,Forecast, Marketing Forecast Value, Sales Forecast and Sales Forecast Value.

As per the standard process any custom measures must be loaded into the Planning through Measures.csv FBDI import
file.

Post importing the data will be available in MSC_ST_MEASURE_DATE and MSC_MEASURE_DATA.

SOLUTION

To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:

1. Re-build data using ScpMeasuresImportTemplate.xlsm FBDI file

2. Navigate to schedule process and import the data through "Load Planing flat files

3. If the file failed to load due to data issues then the respective child process will be end up in warning

4. If the file success to load the the data will be available in MSC_ST_MEASURE_DATA and MSC_MEASURE_DATA Tables .
