AKDL Extension Unit: New Heights of Sustainability

Inaugurating on 26th December 2022, this project thrusts the RMG Sector to a new
milestone of eco-sustainability.

The trailblazer of Bangladesh’s RMG industry, AKH Group’s newest concern is AKH Knitting &
Dyeing Ltd. Extension Unit. The most versatile of its kind nation-wide, it reposes at Dhamrai.
Some of its features include:

– LEED Gold status certified by USGBC

– 156 top European circular knitting machines on 2.5 lac sqft
– 50 tonne/day prodution of high-end knit fabrics
– Luwa LoomSphere System for humidification and temperature control
– Electric vehicles and fork-lifts to reduce CO2 emission
– 2.8 MW solar project (5145 pannels) meeting 100% of energy consumption
– Rain Water Harvesting System (capacity: 8 lac litres)
– Sewage Treatment Plant
– Dormitory, medicale care and recreational facilities for workers.
