SPEAKING PART 1

1. Are there any TV channels in your country that don’t have adverts?
In my own perspective, I think that there aren’t any TV channels that don’t have
advertisements. First, it is a good product placement that agencies pay attention
to because it is easy to invest. Second, there are the celebrity endorsements so
that it will be appealing to more customers.
2. Do you enjoy watching adverts on TV?
To be honest, I am not keen on watching advertisements on TV because
sometimes they are really annoying when I’m enjoying a full movie. Also it
wastes my time when I just have a short break so I absolutely hate adverts.
3. What are the best ways for ordinary people to advertise something they want to
sell in your country?
From my point of view, ordinary people can have many ways to advertise their
products. First, they can create a sales page on the social media so that all
customers can observe it easily or access the homepage to watch the given. Or
people can use word of mouth to advertise the things that they want to sell
though it is a bit risky.
SPEAKING PART 3
1. What is it that makes an advert effective?
Advertising agencies sometimes might exaggerate the functions of the products
that they produce, but the main point is that they must exhilarate their target
audience in order that they might attract their customers.
2. What are the advantages to companies of advertising on the Internet rather than
TV?
There are lots of advantages that online advertisements can give the companies
that TV won’t ever do. For instance, agencies can save a lot of money because
the advertisements on the Internet might not waste their money because they
can create websites on the Internet without any fee. Also sales pages on social
media can quickly transfer the advertisements over the world whereas domestic
TV channels don't appear in other countries.
3. What things do advertising companies do that might give it a bad name?
From my own perspective, if advertising agencies post horrible images or
uncensored information it will impact their prestige because it isn’t suitable with
children and also adults. It brings up bad feelings for audience when they
observe those images and read those information.
