VI. RATIONALE:

Developing literacy education and instructional strategies within the national framework is
the goal of the strategic and deliberate lac session on the National Reading Program for
Teachers. This session's reasoning is based on the understanding that proficient reading
abilities have a significant influence on both academic success and general cognitive
development. The session's goal is to give teachers a thorough understanding of the
National Reading Program's goals, methods, and suggested teaching strategies by
immersing them in it.

Through this effort, teachers will be in line with the national standards, promoting a
consistent, excellent reading program throughout all schools. In addition, the workshop
fosters cooperative learning among educators, facilitating the exchange of useful tactics and
materials to improve literacy instruction. In the end, the National Reading Program lac
session aims to equip educators with the skills and resources required to develop effective
readers, so supporting the more general objective of developing a citizenry that is literate
and knowledgeable.

VII. OBJECTIVE/S:
At the end of this activity, the participants should be able:
a. demonstrate a mastery of the program's objectives, including an in-depth
understanding of the recommended reading standards, skills, and benchmarks.
b. apply evidence-based reading strategies recommended by the National Reading
Program.
c. work collaboratively, sharing insights and best practices related to program
implementation..

XII. Monitoring and Evaluation:

Monitoring and evaluation are an essential component of every activity. The


committee will ensure the smooth implementation of the training. The outcome determines
the possible solutions and recommendations that will improve the delivery of instructions to
the learner.
