1. CHECK LIST상의 점검 항목은 매 6개월 간격으로 작동시험을 시행하고 그 결과를 본 점검 서식 및 기관 일지에 기록, 유지한다.
월간 또는 3개월 간격으로 점검해야 하는 주요 안전 장치, (주 기관, 발전기, 보일러, S/Geer 장치)의 점검은 본 Safety Device Check List의 점검
기록을 포함하여 Engine Log Book에 필히 그 사실을 기록 유지하여야 한다.
All the check items on this check list should be executed operational testing every 6 months interval, and maintain & record the results in
the list and Engine Log Book.
The important Safety devices for Main “Engine, G/Engine, Boiler, S/Gear System which should be tested in monthly, quarterly interval must be recorded in Engine
Log Book include 6 months interval test records.
2. SAFETY DEVICE 점검항목은 선형과 기관의 종류 등에 따라 상이하므로 선내에 설비된 해당기기에 적합하도록 필요한 경우 삭제, 변경, 추가하여
사용한다. (항목을 삭제할 경우는 CHECK LIST상 N/A란에 ' '표시를 함)
All the check items which contained in this check list may be properly adjusted according to shipboard safety device system installed if
required. (In case of removal of any item from the check list, mark with ' 'in N/A column of the check list)
3. 안전장치의 점검 결과가 기준치와 상이할 때는 안전 상태에 대한 판정과 그 사유, 또는 그에 따른 조처 사항 등을 반드시 REMARK 란 에 기재하여 안전 장치의
성능을 확인한다.
If the test result is different with standard value, it must be recorded the judgment of safety, the reason and taken action in Remark
Column.
4. CHECK LIST상 기술된 'TEST METHODS'이외의 방법으로 점검을 시행하였을 경우는 REMARK란에 그 방법을 간략히 명시한다.
In case of carrying out inspection and testing by any other method rather than specified on the check list, the method must be described in
the column of remarks briefly.
Ⅲ . TEST METHODS
Disconnect the sensor's pressure control line from the system and connect it to a "controllable pressure apparatus"
means hydraulic hand operated pump with suitable pressure reduction valve and pressure gauges. Change the pressure
gradually until limit pressure where alarm will sound in accordance with kind of "controllable pressure apparatus".
There two alternatives as follows,
- Hydraulic hand operated pump with suitable pressure reduction valve and pressure gauges.
- Portable air hose connected to the engine room's pneumatic system and equipped as above.
* After finishing the test, return "controllable pressure apparatus" to normal condition.
- In case of movable element such as float switch, move it by hand or by means of suitable tool, where confirm alarm
and indicator activates. Make sure the easy and free movement. If it cannot be used as above described method,
remove the wire from the terminal of detector and confirm the alarm and indicator activate.
With the sensor in its mounted position, gradually reduce the flow until the alarm sounds.
Remove the sensing element from its mounting and immerse it in a bath of distilled water. Note reaction of the
instrument, then immerse the sensor in a bath with a known salinity, about half scale of the instrument. Moving from
high toward low salinity until alarm sounds and adjust then alarm set point. When the alarm confirms during actual
operation, observe the correspondence of instrument reading value at alarm and actual salinity.
To simulate the power supply faults, remove fuses or break lines at function clips, otherwise disconnect from switch
board or power source.
For each of the following position of the push button, check office pantry alarm is indicated and buzzer is sounded in
the corresponding cabin.
Depending upon the usage of pump, this test will be applied to one of following alternatives or both of them in order
to test automatics start of stand-by pump. During the running of stand-by pump, confirm that alarm given to control
console activates.
- By cutting the power to a running pump, while the other is in stand-by position.
- By reducing the pressure to control the pressure switch of a running pump, while the other is in stand-by position.
This operation should be carried out high and low level indicators and high and low pressure indicators operational
before system test. Automatic start/stop is provided.
