As a qualified Norland nanny, I would like to say that I have really taken time and effort to push myself in my
career to explore and experience all parts of Nannying within private households. My strengths would be
flexibility to fit in and mould myself to any private home, be that fully staffed or no staff at all. I enjoy working
for families with pets inside the home and a busy schedule. Sports activities and extra curriculum after school,
and a passion for outdoor adventures. I enjoy a hands-on approach and supporting working parents and work
well as a clear and direct communicator, this has helped gain respect and create strong relationships with all of
my past employers as you will see throughout my references. Working with a large age group ranging from
newborns, specifically since taking my MNT course in 2022 all the way up to 9 years old. As a qualified
maternity nurse, I enjoy working with newborns a lot. This has been a challenging new career path for me as the
hours and days are long and intense. But, seeing parents relaxed and calm, new mothers catching up on sleep
and socialising due to my support bring me great joy in what I do. Since moving to the United Arab Emirates, I
have taken some time to settle and having taken a Job in a different country where I needed to travel back and
forth has not allowed me to connect with clients in Dubai. I am hoping to work towards building a trusted
relationship with future employers and to provide my skills and knowledge for their children’s needs. Lastly, to
describe myself personally, I am musical and creative, you’ll catch me singing Disney songs and theatre music
to your children, British nursery rhymes I know off by heart and support for musical instruments is something I
enjoy a lot as a nanny. I am high energy and fun to be around, but also professional and always open to feedback
and constructive criticism if there is anything the parents would like me to change or do for them within my job
role.

Employment History

May 2023-January 2024 (temp ROTA maternity nurse covering client's nanny on maternity herself)
This job consisted of caring for a newborn of 4 months old, stepping into a fixed routine and already set ROTA
schedule of two existing nannies. One nanny took time off for maternity while I joined the other as a team of
two caring for this baby. 24/7 for 7 days on, 7 days off. This job was for an UHNW client based in the Saudi
Arabia in the Middle East. Client's name cannot be disclosed due to NDA signed. A reference from the mother
and contact from the other Nanny will be available upon request. This job was to jump in and support the other
nanny while her teammate took time off as a new mother. Daily nanny duties consisted of bottle feeds, sleep
support and sleep training, weaning and menu prep for the chef to produce. Frequent travel during the summer
months to escape the heat in the Middle East. Attending baby classes and creating friendships and socialising for
the child. Working in a fully staffed household with help as part of our team. The position required a lot of
communication, strong organisation and working as part of a big team. Understanding how to fit in and behave
in a fully staffed household and ensuring the highest quality of childcare was provided for this child at all times.
When on shift, I lived in 24/7 and when I was off shift, I would fly back and forth from the family home to my
home in Dubai.

December 2021- February 2023

My current role was a huge change for me, I took some time to do my Maternity nurse qualification with a
highly recommended company from Norland. I worked along side a newborn as a ROTA nanny. The little one
is now 9 months old, and I am very much enjoying the ROTA nanny position. Having worked with mostly
toddlers for the last 4 years, I have really enjoyed gaining newborn experience with this child from the very first
few weeks of her life. Refreshing on weaning and the early development stages of a child’s life and working
with first time parents. I also enjoy having a colleague also, we work very well as a team and are both so
different, this I like because it means we can offer our little one so much more. Day to day, I have the monitor at
night, then incorporate daily activities and socialising with other local nannies and their charges. We started
swimming lessons quite early on which I think is very important, this has offered the little one a lot of support
for development outside of swimming too. Frequent travel with the family is included every few months from
Monaco to the Netherlands and a trip to Iceland coming up.

January 2020 – November 2021

This job has been the biggest achievement so far as a nanny. We worked through the pandemic as a team and
came across many challenges along the way. We kept calm and communicated very clearly how we all felt and
what was on our minds in this uncertain time. I focused on the children and tried to keep the girls lives as
normal as possible and even created a schedule at home to keep them distracted from what was going on. There
were many transitions in this position such as weaning the baby, supporting mum and baby as time went on so
mum could go back to work, and I could take over as sole charge. Adapting both girls' schedules as they grew
and developed. The eldest child transitioned to pre school last September which is a big milestone for them and
can be quite scary, she took it in her stride. Along with making so many friends and really enjoying the balance
between time at home and time at school. My duties included caring for the two dogs which is something I
really enjoy doing, I love animals and it’s a nice addition to the position. I have travelled to Italy twice with the
family which is where the mother is from. We spent a long time there last summer and I was able to take the
Roman city in my stride and have complete autonomy on what we did and where we went. As both parents were
working. This was both challenging and a huge achievement, we had amazing adventures and found some
lifetime activities for the future.

Part time work December 2019- January 2020

While searching for a new full-time position, I do like to take my time and often work temporarily for previous
clients of mine and also use this time to build relationships with new clients. I took a position working for a
family from the UAE who often come to London for a holiday, there were three children and one had special
needs and her own nanny. The baby also had a nanny, and I was the third nanny for the eldest child of eight. The
children needed a lot of 1;1 time which is why they asked for my help during their stay in London for
Christmas.
We spent a lot of time in Hyde Park and winter wonderland. I often keep in touch with this family who ask me
to work frequently.

August 2018 – December 2019

I worked for a family based in Chiswick, I took care of a 2-year-old girl Monday to Friday, 12+ hours a day. I
arrived to work for 6:30am as mum makes her way to work. My charge would wake around 7;30 am, and we
have breakfast together and prepare for the day. A normal day consists of educating activities with lots of
outdoor time, swimming, gymnastics, walks in the park and lots of playdates with our friends. The family made
it clear that spending most of our days outdoors is very important, in whatever weather. Many visits are to the
museums and parks in London, picnics and lunches out to practice table manners. We sing all day and laugh a
lot together. Promoting education in an age-appropriate way to make it fun and creative as well as meeting the
development milestones, in line with my Norland training. I have enjoyed seeing this child blossom and become
the happiest toddler through my care and support within the family. I experienced a few transitions with this
child, I potty trained her, I transitioned her into her own bed and bedroom and to nursery twice a week. I
enjoyed the position very much and experienced lots of new things culturally.

2015 – Present
Babysitting in Bath for various families, children aged 4 weeks to 12 years old.
Reinforce existing bath and bedtime routines and introducing new practices where requested.
Homework support across a range of subject and age groups. Prepare health and nutritious meal time
for children of all age groups. General tidying up around the home, encouraging the children to assist. I gained
my 24-hour newborn experience. I have supported a mum with breast feeding and
bath and bedtime. Formula feeds and general nanny duties around the home.

December 2015 - February 2018

Various 24/7, daily and holiday Nanny Jobs: Children aged 4 weeks old – 12 years old, London, Ascot,
Switzerland, Sussex, France, and Spain.
I have worked with various families over the last three years which has taught me how to be flexible and fit into
different routines very easily. How to build relationships with children of all ages, helping them develop.
Organising activities myself around London, play dates and clubs to attend or following a strict daily plan by the
parent. I have cooked in every job from simple baby weaning foods to setting up an Aga to cook a three-course
meal for a family of eight. General Nanny duties have been included in all positions along with some light
housekeeping and tiding up after myself and the children at all times. I am very proud when it comes to
nannying duties and enjoy organising children’s clothes and belongings to ensure a neat and tidy order is in
place. I have attended baby swim lessons, conducted swimming support in summer positions and attended
swimming classes with children in central London. Supporting a family by packing for holidays, packing for a
country move and unpacking to organise the children’s belongings in a new home. Supporting speech delay and
development and walking, supporting children’s sleep problems, nightmares and growth spurts, terrible twos
and tantrums, fussy eating and weakness of swallowing muscles in the throat causing gagging when beginning
solid foods. Homework and school projects, music lessons and singing are a strong point of mine. Teaching
older children how to tidy up, help around the home and care for themselves and younger siblings. Supporting
transition of new siblings, transition of new home, school and parent.
