The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of

electricity in 2014.

The bar chart illustrates the manufacturing and usage of electricity in top ten countries in 2014.
Overall, the production of electricity was mostly higher than the consumption one. However,
there was an exception in Germany, in which electricity’s consumption was higher than the
production one.
As it observed, in China and Russia's category, usage’s data was a little bit higher than
manufacturing's data. Looking at China’s section, there was an equality in the electricity’s
production compared to the consumption one, which was around 5,320 billion kWh. Turning to
Russia’s category, the usage figure, which was 1,038 billion kWh, was almost equal to the
consumption figure.
Regarding Asia and Western’s countries besides Germany, the electricity’s manufacture was
much higher than the consumption one. Furthermore, looking at Asia and Western’s countries
apart from Germany, consumption’s data range from 449.5 to 5,322 billion kWh. However,
Germany was an only exception, in which the electricity in usage was a bit higher than the
production one and the production’s data was 526,6 billion kWh, while the consumption one was
582,2 kWh.
