JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator Location: Lagos


Function: Talent Acquisition project Supervisory Responsibilities:
Reporting to: Human Resources Director Date: 6th May 2023

Purpose of the Job (Brief)

Effectively manage the end-to-end Talent Acquisition project of the organization to optimize productivity,
profitability and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions
 Liaise with functional directors across the organization to build teams.
 Consult with stakeholders to implement strategic plans for acquiring the best and brightest talent to deliver
on organizational goals.
 Facilitate inclusive and objective hiring process to ensure candidates are assessed against organizational
competencies to thrive.
 Deliver an exceptional candidate experience with each interaction throughout the recruitment process
 Foster long-term relationships with current talents, past and potential candidates.
 Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all implemented talent tools and technologies are efficiently
utilised.
 Implement innovative sourcing techniques to engage with the best talent
 Sourcing potential candidates through online channels to acquire the best and brightest talent to deliver on
organizational goals.
 Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
 Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future
opportunities
 Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.

Education/Skills/Abilities

 Bachelor’s Degree or it’s equivalent in relevant courses.


 CIPM and HRI Certification will be an advantage.
 Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Recruitment Specialist.
 Experience in full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment
 Experience guiding the talent process and communicating with senior level leaders
 Hands-on experience with the largest job sites like LinkedIn and Indeed
 Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites
 Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
 Strong interpersonal skills
 Good written and verbal communications skills
 Team spirit.
