Recruitment Cycle
Preparation Sourcing Screening Selecting Hiring Onboarding
 Preparation:
Preparation in the recruitment cycle involves the activities and steps taken by an organization to get ready for the
hiring process. This stage is essential for ensuring that the organization is well-equipped to attract, assess, and
select the right candidates for the job.
 Sourcing:
Process of identifying, attracting, and recruiting candidates for job openings within an organization. This involves
activities such as searching for potential candidates, reaching out to them, and building a pool of qualified
individuals from which the organization can choose. Different job portals we work on include Job Diva, Monster,
LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc.
 Screening:
It is the stage where recruiters or hiring professionals assess and evaluate job applicants to determine whether
they meet the minimum qualifications and requirements for a particular position. The primary purpose of
screening is to streamline the candidate pool and identify those who are most likely to succeed in the later stages
of the hiring process. Examples include resume screening, phone screening, skills assessment, BGC, Reference
Check etc.
 Selecting:
It is the stage after screening in which the candidate is locked after verifying the necessary documentation and
references. In this process, candidates’ resume is cross verified once again before moving the resume for the
submission to TL’s so that the candidate gets selected for the interview.
 Hiring:
Once the candidate is selected an interview is scheduled between the candidate and the Hiring Manager. Once an
interview is completed the Hiring Manager places an offer to the candidate. In other words, it is the process of
bringing new employees into an organization to fill specific job roles or positions.
 Onboarding:
Onboarding in the recruitment cycle is the process of integrating and orienting newly hired employees into the
organization. It includes activities such as orientation sessions, training, and providing necessary information to
help newcomers adapt to their roles and the company culture.
