WHICH FAULT BONNET OPEN, AT IDLE OR WHEN ACCELERATING SLIGHTLY
APPEARS :

1. ORIGIN
Noise coming from the camshaft drive chain .

None.

N.B. : The noise can only be heard outside the vehicle and mainly when the bonnet is open

2.1.1. Check 1
Locate the origin of the noise :
If the noise is located in the top of the engine : Carry out check 2
If the noise is not located in the top of the engine : Do not apply this document

2.1.2. Check 2
Compare the vehicle noise with that supplied as a reference :
If the vehicle noise is identical to the sound file : The operation conforms to specification ; Do not replace parts
If the vehicle noise differs from the sound file : Do not apply this document
