remained believable and in some scenes the acting was very good. In addition he soon regrets what
he has just said and has an emotional breakdown. G.C.S.E Drama: Evaluation of Naturalistic
Improvisation. This added to the sad, emotional mood of the scene, all you could see was two dead
bodies lying in the dark with all the other character standing around looking down on them. Making
this happen took years of honing our business processes, months of demanding staff training, and

in this scene, in others when he was acting older he did not do as good. Sadie was the one character
that I couldn’t quite believe in and this affected my view of the performance she did considerably.

She used a rifle that she had recently been given for Christmas by her father. If you looked around
you, you could see the reactions of other people in the audience. I was assigned by our teacher to
play their neighbour who witnessed the crime. The mother; a high flying business woman, clothed in
posh suits and her mobile phone an accessory to her outfit; the other mother and father mostly stick
to jeans and smart clothing as well. Include Strengths and weaknesses directly from spec and using
assessment terminology. I will say it again that I thought that the positives very greatly overweighed
the negatives. This showed that she was in touch with her femininity and wanted men to notice her.
When we saw what was happening (David hitting Claire) it was very surprising since we didn’t know
that that was going to happen. The play Blood Brothers is about twins who were separated at birth
by their mother Mrs Johnston, who would not be able to cope with even more children. The scene
also illustrates how one event can ignite. One particular response that I got from emerald was that
she liked the way I started my Monologue with “Happy Birthday Brenda and also chose to end it
that way which made my performance a clear structure. Their qualifications and expertise allow them
quickly and sharply grasp the requirements and develop consistent papers. Mickey was looking
scruffy with ripped, old dirty clothes while Edward looked smart and neat. At one point Sarah loses
her cool and throws the toy to show her fury; this is parallel to the structure of my character as at the
beginning he is very controlled then abruptly his thoughts trigger him to become violent. The
language she used and her body language all reflected the down to earth woman she was. For
example alcoholism is a main part of the play; it is Mary’s way of escaping the harshness of reality.
Even before the play started you could make assumptions about the type of family that lived in the
house, just simply through looking at the cheap, old furniture, the bottles of alcohol strewn
everywhere and the pots and pans in the dirty looking kitchen. By looking at the picture one cannot
help but to wonder what was going on at the time that this incident took place, and who committed
this gruesome act of violence upon another human being. It shows that no matter what the
circumstances are you have to stay strong. “But I kept fighting. See other similar resources ?15.00

One of the other things worth mentioning is our movement. What we were meant to do in the scene
was imagine that we were out on our first date, at a restaurant or the cinema, where couples typically
go for dates. This resource hasn't been reviewed yet To ensure quality for our reviews, only

and is very feisty. G.C.S.E Drama: Evaluation of Naturalistic Improvisation. The scene also
illustrates how one event can ignite. When in her bedroom at home, she would sing quietly,
sometimes it was just a whisper. This contrast in sound added to the intensity of the scenes. As a
result of the characters being realistic we could sustain the tension and suspense during our
performance which had a positive effect on the audience. See other similar resources ?2.00 (no

show that he was a seven year old, acting childish and funny. If I was Claire, after the incident at the
engagement party, I would really think of hard about the future and whether or not I was going to
remain with David. Mary was dressed to portray her as cheap, it also reflected the fact that she was
trying to wear clothes from her lost youth. After the first listening we received the words and then
you got the full effect of this song. The lights in this part turned dark red to show the anger and
frustration the Mickey felt at this point, it also added to the mood and effect of the scene. We used
freeze frame every time another character would come on ensuring the audience was focused on the
character that was the most important at that time. Lights were used in the club and gave a really
good effect. In terms of space we set up all of the chairs in a way that resembled a court room with
all of the chairs facing the witness bench and other things like that. This also helped the play as hen
LV stepped onto this record, she sang like a star. In terms of costume we made David seem mentally
ill with his clothes all distraught and he always kept fidgeting as though there was something wrong
with him. I wouldn’t like this picture to be taken of me seeing as it would bring back all of the
negative emotions that I faced while I was being abused, and it would make me have flashbacks of
what happened that day that I was assaulted. That is another difference; in the 16 th century a
women would not be seen in trousers, a very common item of clothing nowadays. We also received
positive comments from the audience as they thought that we had put in a lot of effort and work in to
the practical. If you looked around you, you could see the reactions of other people in the audience.
When LV stands on the stage she impersonates her favourite stars and turns into somebody
completely different. I think that it is harder to work with another person while trying to devise a
piece of work like this because sometimes your ideas will clash and you will have to choose between
your partner’s ideas. These all portrayed her character as somebody who doesn’t take a lot of pride in
her appearance. I thought it was a great play and I really enjoyed it. The torch light makes this
moment a lot more effective as the rest of the set is in pitch darkness, the only thing the audience can
see is the faces of the two characters, this expresses the idea of the truth being in the eyes of
somebody.
But since we decided to disperse our positioning we could use different lighting. People in the 16 th
century were expected to live with. I did this by using a variety of drama devices such as using
intentionally pauses, keeping my facial expressions fairly neutral. Coloured fairy lights lined the bar
signs around the set. I really enjoyed doing this piece of work as it was something that I was very
interested in and I liked the character who I was cast as. The volume changed all of the time to fit in
with the scene. During the scenes in which he was playing the seven-year-old Mickey, he added
comedy and made it funny which was contrasting to the tense scenes between Mrs Johnston and
Mrs Lyons before it. When in her bedroom at home, she would sing quietly, sometimes it was just a
whisper. Drama evaluation - Communication, motivation and co-operation. As they grew older, they
meet and even through the disapproval of Mrs Lyons become friends. The doors, windows and
cupboards were all set into the floor, yet still used for example, the wardrobes was opened, this gave
a hint of realism and helped you to believe in the reality of the set. We used freeze frame every time
another character would come on ensuring the audience was focused on the character that was the
most important at that time. This also helped the play as hen LV stepped onto this record, she sang
like a star. Our customer service team will review your report and will be in touch. ?15.00 (no rating)

what was happening (David hitting Claire) it was very surprising since we didn’t know that that was
going to happen. Dark, tense scenes used dark coloured lights, for example the scene where Mrs
Lyons finds out about Mickey and Edward being friends and she becomes crazy acts angry and
scary the lights turn dark red to show the anger. In other happier scene like when the children are
playing games the lights are bring with light colours. Also one thing that I thought that could have
been done to enhance the performance was to dim the lights as I think that it would have given the
piece a more dramatic feel. One of the other things worth mentioning is our movement. When you
read the article you could not help but be amazed at what he said right before he forever scarred
Claire’s face, “When you look in the mirror I want you to remember me.” The article also made me
even more sorrowful for Claire by very graphically retelling the account of Claire’s horrific story. The
lights in this part turned dark red to show the anger and frustration the Mickey felt at this point, it
also added to the mood and effect of the scene. I don’t think we would have needed costumes as
our acting was realistic enough to make the audience believe who we were acting was us. This added
to the sad, emotional mood of the scene, all you could see was two dead bodies lying in the dark
with all the other character standing around looking down on them. Billy kisses LV on the forehead,
this is the moment when we see that it is a very innocent relationship that they hold with each other
and it is more of a caring friendship. Empty reply does not make any sense for the end user Submit

enjoyed how they made it unexpected when the police come through the side doors next to the
audience, that made the scene more interesting and exciting. We intentionally chose to play
contrasting characters; Brenda’s father was quite close to her while the headmaster’s wife wasn’t yet
she was severely affected by Brenda’s actions. Then as the other characters gradually left the stage
and the police took away the dead bodies the spotlight came on the narrator as he introduces the play.
