Why is it
important?
Being safe online is one of the most important things one
can do in order to protect their identity, mental health and
safety. Nearly 42% of kids have been bullied online which
results in higher chances of that child to develop
depression, anxiety and other mental disorders. 40% of
kids have interacted with strangers online which increases
the risk of being groomed, kidnapped or sex trafficked.
Furthermore, 9% of kids have a virus that affects their
technology device which can delete your files, change
your hard drive and eventually make it impossible to use it. Tips for Students:
