P (Plan Of Oral Presentation)

The group’s theme is ‘Social Issues’ and the topic I have chosen is ‘The Effects of
Poverty and Homelessness in Jamaica’. The genre I intend to use is poetry. I will
be doing a free verse poem, to express my emotions and feelings on the topic along
with the information I have gained. This presentation will be done from my view as
a student and from my view as a person who has lived in very deep poverty. The
sources I will be using are youtube videos and songs from all across the internet to
be able to effectively present and I will use Jamaican Standard English and
Jamaican Creole with a ratio of 80:20.

Introduction
Good Morning Assessors, My name is Kymani Douglas, My group theme is
‘Social Issues’, however, my individual topic is ‘The Effects of Poverty and
Homelessness in Jamaica’, I will be doing this oral presentation using the genre of
poetry by doing a free verse poem with a ratio of 80:20 in ‘Standard English’ and
‘Jamaican Creole’ respectively, I will now begin, “blah blah blah” and that
concludes my presentation.
