38 The present tense of the verb is used to express an action that happens

39 regularly or habitually.

40 Time expressions like every day, every week, once a month, and yearly show

41 present tense.

42 Singular subjects and pronouns he, she, or it use the present singular form of

43 verb. To form the singular form of the verb, we add –s or –es to it.

44 Plural subjects take the base form of the verb when expressing present tense.

47 Verbs ending in – s has three different final sounds: /s/, /z/ and /iz/.

48 The final sound is /s/ if the verb ends with vowels a, e, i , o ,u and the letters

50 The final sound is /z/ if the verb ends with the letters m, n, l, b, d and g.

51 The final sound is /z/ if the verb ends with letters s, z, sh and ch.So let us try
