HOW TO HANDLE PUPILS?

SET RULES
-on the very first day so that you’ll have a less
complicated class

-students should know their boundaries

-also know that they are in the classroom, consider
it as their house, and they should feel at home knowing
their boundaries.

Children are more calm and careful on their actions

during their first week because they are still knowing
their classmates, teacher and their environment.

International Curriculum is integrated in their classroom

( e.g. they don’t have Filipino subjects) and teaches
more on the holistic development of students.

STRATEGIES

 INDEPENDENCE OF STUDENTS

 THROUGH STORYTELLING

Reading in front of the children

Ask questions afterwards
Young kids love STORIES!
Teachers are ACTORS
They act in order for children to engage in the learning
process.
- Make them part of the story. Let the children
understand, feel story, and experience what the story is
all about

 LET THEM WATCH VIDEOS

Give them room for realization (which is not given
through video-watching)
 ROLE PLAY/ PLAY PART THE STORY/ ACT IT OUT
Act the different parts of the story.
Use this depending on how the children like the story.

How To Teach Lessons Through Literature?

 THROUGH SONG
Teacher Ariane’s one strategy is making song
 Children should realize that the teacher is also
learning with them.
 We don’t and can’t force children to LEARN.

How To Teach In The New Normal Way Of Education?

 BE MORE CREATIVE

Use colorful presentations

Appropriate voice modulation
Interactive animations

 ALWAYS BE THERE FOR THEM

They need support along the way

Get the students engage in the discussion.
When you teach children, you don’t teach them
academically but to focus their love on learning.

 DON’T FORCE KIDS TO LEARN SOMETHING

Wait for them to be ready
We’re not ready for this new way of learning
 Keep the passion in learning
 If not happy in teaching, I would advice to take a
rest.
 Not only teachers who will suffer but also the kids
will suffer.
 A teacher's job is not only inside the classroom,
it's also the love.
 It is happy to see kids learning.
 Very essential right now. The world needs you. You're
essential
