MODULE SYNOPSIS MODULE 1 FOCUSES ON MASTERING BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) AND RESUSCITATION PROCEDURES,
INTEGRATING CARDIO PULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) AND FOREIGN BODY AIRWAY
OBSTRUCTION (FBAO) FIRST AID TECHNIQUES. IN SIMULATED EMERGENCY SCENARIOS,
PARTICIPANTS WILL DEVELOP THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE
AND EFFECTIVE LIFE-SAVING INTERVENTIONS.

MODULE OBJECTIVES PERFORM CARDIO PULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) AND FOREIGN BODY AIRWAY OBSTRUCTION
(FBAO) FIRST AID USING A COMPREHENSIVE FIRST AID KIT EQUIPPED WITH NECESSARY CONTENTS,
A FIRST AID MANUAL, AND FIRST AID TREATMENT SOP. ADDITIONALLY, EMPLOY ESSENTIAL TOOLS
SUCH AS AN AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED), BARRIER DEVICES, A PATIENT REPORT
FORM, AND A UNIVERSAL PROTECTION DEVICE. ASSESS AND ADDRESS LIFE-THREATENING
CONDITIONS, INCLUDING IDENTIFYING AND INTERVENING IN THE CHOKING CASUALTY'S CONDITION.
ENSURE THE CASUALTY IS APPROPRIATELY TRANSPORTED, AND SUBMIT A DETAILED REPORT BY JOB
SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND INTERNATIONAL FIRST AID STANDARD OPERATING
PROCEDURES (SOP).
