I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. Deepen their understanding of the SAS (Side-Angle-Side) congruence
postulate.
b. Apply the SAS congruence postulate in different situations to determine if
two triangles are congruent.
c. Engage in interactive activities to reinforce their understanding of the SAS
congruence postulate.
II. CONTENT
A. Topic: Proving Two Triangles are Congruent (Day 2)
B. Materials: Hand-outs, Pen, Tarpaper, laptop
C. Reference: Math-Quarter 3

III. PROCEDURE
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Daily Routine
a. Prayer
b. Greetings
c. Checking of Attendance
B. Review
The teacher will review the previous lesson on the SAS congruence postulate.
C. Lesson Proper

 The teacher will introduce more complex examples of the SAS

congruence postulate.
 The teacher will facilitate a fun and interactive activity involving the
SAS congruence postulate.
Activity: "SAS Congruence Challenge"
Task: Students will be given a set of triangle measurements. They need to
determine which ones can form a pair of congruent triangles using the SAS
postulate.
Procedure
Step 1: The teacher will explain more complex examples of the SAS
congruence postulate.
Step 2: The teacher will set up the "SAS Congruence Challenge". The
challenge will involve a set of triangle measurements.
Step 3: The students will work in groups to determine which
measurements can form a pair of congruent triangles using the SAS
postulate.
D. Application
The teacher will ask the students to create their own "SAS Congruence Challenge"
involving different triangle measurements.
IV. Generalization
The teacher will summarize the main points of the lesson, emphasizing the
importance of understanding the SAS congruence postulate and how to apply it in
different situations.
V. Evaluation

Directions: Participate in the "SAS Congruence Challenge". Use the SAS

congruence postulate to determine which sets of triangle measurements can
form a pair of congruent triangles.
VI. Assignment
Create your own "SAS Congruence Challenge" involving different triangle
measurements. Be ready to share and explain it to the class.
VII. Reflection

A. Number of learners who earned

80% on the formative
assessment.

B. Number of learners who require

additional activities for
remediation

C. Did the remedial lesson work?

No. of learners who caught up
with the lessons

D. No. of learners who require

remediation.

E. Which of my teaching strategies

worked well? Why did these
works?
F. What difficulties did I
encounter? Which my principal
or supervisor can help me solve?

G. What innovation of localized

materials did I use/discover
which I wish to share with other
teachers?
